There could be 2 reason
1. Bani got tired and stepped out which looks obvious
2. She got the support info from outside. Add to that now she has a friend who will help her to break MMM and MML combinations. So just by giving up immunity this time she can have a strategic advantage over both Mona and Lopa.
I am not ruling out either of the possibilities. Currently Lopa has good relation with everyone apart Bani. This move can change the dynamics a lot.
I think she has realized that she'd be needing people by her side and Priyanka's sweetness towards her is quite a signal that Priyanka doesn't want animosity between the two so she's trying get a member in her team coz Lopa definitely has more support and Bani's only support Gaurav is too self-righteous at times😆
Had Bani won the task that would've meant Priyanka's ouster from the house but Bani has a strong fanbase which I'm sure Jagga told her about which led to them deciding to take the steps they did.
IDK If I should call it a good strategy or not coz It's too early to judge that but if Priyanka is feigning the sweetness(Which I think she is) then it's not going to be there for more than a week.
