There are many reasons to watch kkb, some may watch out of habit or some may watch out of curiosity & some watch because they like the characters or actors playing them .

One thing about kkb is writers know how to gain viewers interest, like giving misleading precaps, promos etc.

Kkb sure has some high points, trp's reflect that but before even with filler episodes & light hearted scenes kkb used to have high ratings unlike now.

To my understanding, we still have high ratings. We got used to being #1 over the summer/most of the year, but that doesn't mean not being #1 is low ratings. We're still ranking high enough to keep going 😳

Yes, there is a problem with having to wait for a new episode every day or over the weekend - our minds go into overdrive wondering what's next. It's impossible not to overthink...and good to catch yourself when you're getting too deep into overthinking 😆

Whole TV industry runs on TRPs because they believe it is proven system to know viewer's choice. Production Houses takes decisions to invest further or not on a show based on TRPS . They can't run business on assumptions . Because it is matter of Crores of rupees and Livelihood to hundreds of people..And Viewers must have some motivating factor to tune to a particular soap from a specific channel among 100s of channels available .. That means they do not hate the show. And What is the motivating factor and what is viewer's choice whether it is Cast, Story, execution, curiosity factory etc ..in that particular soap is entirely different subject altogether ..But the thing is there is a motivation factor and there is a reason to celebrate..

I have same reasons as you to celebrate the show which pulls me to watch it ..I defintely like to introspect my reasons and celebrate it with you ..🤗So not going into details as you have already put it beautifully.. And I have 100 other things that I don't like in the show ..But I want to stick to Topic.

Thank you for sharing your perspective! I like how you put it, there are different motivating factors, but the aggregate of motivating factors still brings lots of viewers to KKB - yay!!! 😃

And I don't deny that there are lots of things that are dislikable on the show, that there are lots of reasons NOT to watch...but mostly we don't come to the forum unless we are watching or want to watch/know what's happening on the show. So since we naturally come here to discuss our frustrations, there are lots of discussions about what we don't like and what we wish was different. I wanted to point out that underneath all of that...fundamentally, we must like the show to bother watching it or coming to discuss it. I understand now that liking may not be the right word. There may be people who do not like the show but are watching it for other reasons. Nonetheless - everyone has a reason, whether it's positive or not, whether they can put it into words or not, whether they've ever thought about it or not 😆

One thing to definitely celebrate? That we are watching and the show brings us together here 😊

I particularly like purab's chr.

His bonding with pragya n family.

His loyalty to abhi n his family.

Rs daadi is one more of my favourites.

Tanu-aliya- nikhil form a formidable trio.

But I find a huge gap.

There are no elderly male chrs.Not that I want to see any.

Abhi,nikhil n purab.The rest are females.

Yes kkb hardly has any male characters which I find very wierd 😛.

There are other 2 male characters Tayaji & Raj bhaiya but they are not seen most of the time.
