I wasn't watching the show from quite a time. So , meanwhile I was thinking to share this thoughts which I have had from a long time about abhi.. these are some of the moments where I felt that abhi disappointed me.
Abhi agreed to ruin a girl's life by doing a revenge marriage with her just because his sister told she is a gold-digger...not even bothered to cross check.. didn't thought for a moment what if aaliya had a misunderstanding??? There's always a two sides of coin . You can't always be right . purab wasn't a kid that someone could trap him easily like that... what if that girl wasn't a gold-digger?? What will happen to her life?? What will happen to his best friend??! What about their love?? So much concerned about sister's tears that it made him blind to see the worst consequences it can bring to others life .a big failure as a brother or as a person for me. There were many other ways if only one tried to think...
When pragya's all dreams of being happily married gets shattered on the night which was supposed to be the happiest night of her life...worst suhagrat one could get thanks to YOU KNOW WHO ...
When punit was beaten by abhi for a disgusting blame without even giving a chance to explain by abhi ...why ?!! because he caught you in compromising position with your gf ??? Idk how can someone talk like that about others character when he himself is at low level in the character by having extra marital affair..
When abhi does drama of being saviour in the MMS track and make pragya to go through the hell of a torture when he already knew she was innocent.. such a dramatic and worst way possible to prove yourself as hero
When abhi lies to pragya on lohri night about tanu's parents being clients and fool's pragya into agreeing for tabhi marriage... this was a big lie considering the situation. He knew at that time pragya was nothing like he thought to be. She was completely genuine at that time. She at least deserved honesty from abhi...he never cleared this even after he got so many chances until pragya found out this herself by chance...
When he let pragya's birthday party become tamasha for the public and believe about pragya's affair with champu ...Even after having past experiences about a fake MMS, Abhi was quick to believe Pragya had an affair with Champu and even if for a moment he had doubt he could have asked her personally, in a better way and could have sort it out...but who lets their gf question your wife's character especially when you are in love with her?? And then how conveniently you escaped by saying at the end that you knew she wouldn't do this. .. LIKE REALLY!!!!!!
The whole concept of Abhi being confused between Fuggy and Mogambo was a disappointment. Abhi had already seen before that Pragya could act bad and go to any level to spoil her image during PraNu track. If he had really had the doubt that she was his fuggy, he should have remembered that she acts/pretends well.
During the scene where Pragya is tied up in a burning raavan, Abhi's monologue about whether he should save her because she is his enemy was pathetic. Is this the kind of thought one would have when someone is dying?
when he tried to get close to Pragya saying he's her husband and he has rights on her.. That was purely egoism and male chauvinistic
When Abhi asked Sarla Maa why she stole the money? He could have asked how did you get trapped in this or used some other words. Asking a mother like figure why did you steal reinforced the fact that he believed only proofs
In lonavala ,When abhi said he knew she was always his fuggy... and she would never do anything wrong with him..if he knew then what was going on from so many months?? Mogambo or fuggy??? Was that a joke???
When abhi easily gets agree to marry tanu because she says her reputation spoiled because of him... can he take a moment here to think what if tanu planned all this to marry him??! I know he doesn't know about tanu's evil nature and trusting her because she is aliya's friend but he is in a celebrity world. That world have various types of people . He's trusting her younger sister's judgement over himself... what if aaliya has misjudged tanu??? What if aaliya failed in recognise tanu's evil side? It's not like that aaliya couldn't do any mistakes.. everyone is bound to make mistakes..so couldn't it be possible that aaliya might have been manipulated by tanu??? What if instead of tanu, she brought a love interest for her.. wouldn't he have cross checked him once being elder brother??? then y not in this case?? After all it's him who's going to spend life with tanu not aaliya.. trusting others too much for your personal life won't lead you anywhere.. and abhi getting ready to marry tanu , just like that is a big let down for me..
