December is here and Tellybuzz is back with its features marathon. For the whole month of December, we will be treating our readers with features every single day. Yesterday, our writer started the series with the 'Best shows of the year'.

Today, we treat you guys with a write up on the best female debuts on television this year. These actresses made a huge splash in the acting scene and since then, there has been no turning back for them.

Erica Fernandes

This Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi actress not only has the looks but also the right amount of acting prowess to carry off intense as well as light-hearted scenes, not to mention the fact that she and her co-star Shaheer Sheikh look a million bucks on-screen together.

Aditi Bhatia

Even though this 17-year-old has been in the acting scene since she was a kid, she debuted in the TV scenario as Ruhi in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Having portrayed every possible emotion that is there right from anger, revenge, frustration to love and kindness, Aditi has done it all with extreme finesse and has established herself as one actress to look forward to.

Ridhima Pandit

This robot is by far the prettiest we have ever seen. And as far as acting as one goes, Ridhima has nailed this one. Acting as a non-living thing is as tough as it gets and Ridhima gets this tough job done with absolute ease in Bahu Hamari Rajni_kant. After all, where do we find a robot as the lead protagonist of a show!

Shweta Basu Prasad

She rose to fame and claimed the acting scenario with her stint in Makdee. And she is now back to claim her lost glory with Ekta Kapoor's historical Chandra Nandini. Shweta will be seen showcasing her treasure trove of talent and exemplary acting skills, not to mention, that she is seen attempting all kinds of stunts in the show.

Rytasha Rathore

Rytasha being a theater person, had big expectations riding on her shoulders ever since her name was announced as the female lead for Badho Bahu. And this heavy duty, the actress has easily fulfilled her responsibility. After all, we couldn't expect anything less from her, could we?

These were the top 5 female debutants of 2016, that are here to stay.

Coming up next is a feature on the best male debutants of 2016.
