Hey guys,
I hope you all are doing great.
Yeah! I know, the ongoing track is a never ending pain.
Lots are saying they are doing this to enter the trp race,
some are saying that may be the writers are not working.
Ect. Ect. Lots of speculations.
Everything is happening except some good story telling.
But, now the question is what is good story telling according to you? What are the tracks that in your esteemed thinking is what can bring the charm, the beauty, the subtlety of the show back?
Consider this that it is you who is given the steering wheel of this show and you are supposed to save this show from getting OTT and saving from shitty, in loop kind of a story.
What are the tracks and solutions do you think will according to you will bring back it's loyal audience and them sitting back with a tub of popcorn?
I am copy posting my suggestions down here, that I had written in another post.
You guys kindly share yours, as to which tracks can help the show survive with grace...

Here's mine.

The story still has a lot of potential and tracks to touch. Not just the infertility track, or prenup, ishwari's insecurity, Neha-Ranveer, Riya-Ayaan, Elena-Vicky, Sona and Saurabh's new venture, but a lot like:-
Maamiji's burning of the house story,

Elena coming to the Dixit house as her daughter in law and probably set radha rani straight.

Neha striving for becoming a self independent lady,

riya's way of becoming more able married woman unlike neha, and she giving her own elder sister lessons to save her marriage,

Nikki opting for studying something out of the league, may be she wants to do modelling or learn acting and direction, instead of joining the family business. And explaining that life is a lot more than we think and the jobs still can be respectable.

probably saurabh dada doing good in his business and getting married someday, and a stark contrast of the mothers in law that asha and ishwari would be, both mothers starting from a middle class background to an upper middle class life and still being grounded,

Or sona giving a path breaking Avenue that pregnancy doesn't define motherhood. May be surrogacy or adoption, and she loving her child like a dear soul. Maybe months or years down the line she may conceive and showing the world and especially her in laws that blood doesn't define a mother's love. Both the children are as dear to her as had both of them been born out of her womb. A lesson to learn that not just the first child or a male child is subject to more love, both are equally eligible to get that.

Maybe ishu's insecurities regarding Dev giving a lot more time to his baby /babies. And Dev explaining that just like she had wanted her son's time when he was small; he also wants to spend more time with his child, probably more because he missed having a father and don't want his child to suffer the same or get just his/her mother's love.

May be Ishwari and Asha coming down to having cordial terms, more than being each other's samdhans. May be Asha giving her useful lessons out of life that may be Ishwari though being experienced may not have learnt.

May be Elena making Vicky a better person. May be his bonding with Maamaji begins to be more like a father and son.

May be Ishwari bonding nicely with her grand kids...

There are so so many tracks in this story, that even if they move in a fast pace like before, they still will be able to survive another year showing this wonderful show. There are so many tracks which without making the show look cliche and a regular saas bahu drama, will break so many cemented set norms of the Indian television industry and still will subtly touch all hearts without being such a high point drama.
All we need is a subtle, soft and lesser OTT drama. This show will start sparking yet again the way it used to be months ago...
I wish the writers and makers take this into account. The lost charm of the show will be back.
That is what I think.

Please share yours.
Who knows we are giving cooked up ideas to our writers who seem tired for a while.. 😉😆

According to me 1st close all the subplots or atleast some of them.First should be the prenup track and not infertility. That should b dealt afterwards when Ishu's insecurities have somewhat decreased.I think the next 2 weeks will start many things rolling and some of the scenes will b watchable after that till that time I am thinking to take a break from the show for my own sanity 😆

All of the above Aazeen.. Look its their story to tell. To me, love is an infinite topic. It grows with age.
They should use sub plots to show how the love is maturing and how Ishwari is becoming a better mother in law. I think the birthday track and now the illness did some of that - Ishwari spoke openly about her insecurity and Dev & sona also grew fonder.

I want to see a better execution

Ishwari ka shradh ! Just kidding just kidding !😆
I think you have summed it up very nicely. ishwari needs to turn around now, she has fallen too deep as a character. We dont need any more negative character growth in her.

Wonderful post Aazeen.
You have already covered everything in your post there is nothing to add but irrespective of what ever is the track unless they bring back their old approach of story telling i dont think there will be any change. Most importantly, If they give back voice to Dev & Unmute him then half of the problems will be solved immediately.😊

how about some tracks are closed first.. 1. khatri.. what was the secret that could break the anokha bond maa beta shar? 2. GKB burning her own house down. 3. forgotten marraige of Ranveer and Neha.. what really happened? 4. prenup. 5. saurabh/Sona business taking off while Vicky doing ghapla at Dev's company.

closing these would be a good start before another Ishwari's competition with Sonakshi.. next round start 😆 stopping the Ishwari.. me best mom in the world saga would also bea goodstart to bring the show back to its senses!

They are still tossing with so many tracks, some important ones are being lagged behind...
Neha and Ranveer's case is let in the back burner... Kyu bhai? neha ki kisi ko koi chinta nahi hai?

Was also thinking of Khatri's track and the secret which has the potential to shake Mother-son bonding...This can even put the infertility track on back burner , is what I feel.
