Dear Zindagi has done well on day grossing around 8.75 crore nett. The collections are actually very good for this type of film on day one but the difference is the presence of Shahrukh Khan. If it was not for him this film would hardly have done half the business.

Ajay was the director and producer for Shivaay so Kajol had everyright to support him. She won't be there during the promotions of his upcoming film because he's not directing it.

SRK, KJO & Dharma Productions is the reason behind Dear Zindagi success. Without these two...the collections would have been as worse as Mirzya. Meaning the film would be a DISASTER at the BO.

DZ got a decent opening and is doing well because of srk.It is a fact!If SRK hadn't done the extended cameo,the film would have fared badly.

If SRK is giving the credit for film's success to Alia,that's his modesty.I am not saying Alia doesn't deserve the credit. She does because she has acted well but in this case,the crowd puller is SRK and not Alia.

I feel SRK fans should feel proud that such a good movie is doing well because of his stardom,specially after all the 'fading star' and 'flop star' comments that they got to read in this forum.

This movie's success so far is the proof to those people that his stardom is still intact.
