"There is no way anything can set straight!" Zoya said dejectedly

"There is!"

"What?" she asked expectantly, maybe something has caught his eyes that she failed to notice!

"Marry me!" He said so swiftly and as smoothly as he would say My name is Khan! His voice had an I am not joking tone and Zoya was immediately set aback.

"Mr. Khan are you serious?" she asked yet unsure! Maybe that was mere slip of words? Maybe it was just a option? Maybe he uttered it because he stressed out due to Najma?! Maybe... Maybe and Maybe!!! He cannot be serious! Just not, she thought!

"Do I sound like I am not serious?" he looked fixating his eyes on hers not moving his pupil but she kept searching his eyes for a denial!

"Mr. Khan how?! I mean nobody will be happy and weren't we the ones who decided to take it gradually!" Zoya said, she wasn't yet ready for the pact called marriage.

"Are you unsure about us?!" Asad asked dejected a bit, no doubt how modern or forward he was than all people surrounding him, no matter how he understood Zoya the fact was that there was a lot difference in their ages, he was a generation elder to her! The generation-gap had to play its vices!

Before Zoya could answer they could hear screams from outside!

"ZOYA COME OUT!!!" screamed a voice she recognized as her brother's

"Bhaijaan...?!" she said bemusing as she least expected him to walk in the Khan's mansion or rather any place Asad lives in!

"Stay in!" he commanded, she groaned trying to reject but he shot her a no nonsense glare making her nod in response halfheartedly. She wanted to go out as she was sick worried for her brother. Be any amount of an a**hole he has been to her, Ayaan was her elder brother at the end of the day!

She knew Asad ever accepted any nonsense talk and that's what she exactly feared for as she knew Ayaan will deliberately try to hurt Asad considering for Ayaan, Asad has bruised her family's reputation!

[FOLLOWING EVENTS ARE OCCURING SIMULTANEOUSLY IN AND OUT OF KHAN VILLA]

OUTSIDE

"I called my sister Khan!" Ayaan rolled his eyes

"You have done enough damage, already!" Asad folded his arms glancing at the passenger's seat of the car where a fairly handsome guy younger than him was sitting, Asad recognized him as Kabir: Zoya's suitor!

"Why don't you admit you are using her as a pretty revenge prop, if you are done give me my sister back!" Ayan said in a low voice

"Shut up Ayaan, I already-"

"What's wrong with you Khan? You have taken enough revenge now... I m sure you have taken her in all senses!"Asad shrieked at his voice which merely stated Zoya as some worthless commodity, it was really enough! A limit all limits! A limit to his tolerance!

"Ayaan-"

"Stop that lion-roar of my name as I know what I spoke is the truth there is no way you left my sister a virgin!" Ayaan barked

"Get lost from my house!" Asad yelled too

"Well technically Im not in your house!" he said standing out of the Khan Villa's gates, "so you cannot kick me out, what do you really feed your watchmen?! Ours is such a traitor!" Ayaan trailed off even he could not help but be drawn into Asad's skills in handling people but his big fat ego it was really difficult for Ayaan to admit that Asad used no cunning way!

"That's the problem; you are speaking shit in the colony outskirts... Don't curse if you get your another eye black-blue colored and speaking of your watchmen you Siddhiquis just don't pay them enough just few bucks and they are sold!" Asad mocked

"I have still not forgotten the insult! You will have to pay-back!"

"Well I give you a chance right now!" Asad stepped down the stairs to get into the big verandah in front of his house pulling up his sleeves all set to avenge the derogatory exchange while Ayaan too jumped off the jeep doing same

"STOP YOU BOTH!" Kabir yelled, "Mr. Khan I just want to talk to Zoya!"

"Yeah I know she wanted to talk to you as well!" Asad stated while Kabir's expressions changed, he thought that this was supposed to be a secret meeting.

"Oh she shares everything with you!" he sighed while Asad chose not to answer and invited him in, just when Ayaan was supposed to enter Asad got in way!

"Just show your jeep the colony around until we're done!" he said straightening Ayaan's collar and pushing him softly before shutting the door on his face!

INSIDE

She headed towards the door only so that Asad shuts and latches it from out! She paced in the living room for a while all she could her shrieks and shouts of Ayaan, she tried to go near the door so that she could her them more discreetly but it seems that the wooden barrier was way to rigid to let her hear the argument at the other par! Dejectedly she went and sat on the coach!

"I never expected this from you Zoya!" Zoya's eyes shot up on Najma's voice. Najma was menacingly making her way down as Zoya realized she had no answers to give her, to pacify her... All she could pray is that Asad comes in as soon as possible!
