difference between riya and preeti in their approach to love is, riya openly told her father about her love for shivam and her wanting to marry shivam preeti kept her love for mohit a secret then when preeti could not marry mohit she adjusted herself to marrying vyom may be because he is rich. again when mohit sent word to meet her she ran away from her marriage once insulted she came back to be forcefully married to nandu. again she kept scecret of her love for lucky and kept meeting him. when nandu said he wants to die she said go ahead and die. then when she is about to get engaged to lucky and she came to know about nandus suicide she still wanted to marry lucky.she did not have human decency to wait for the mourning period to be over. riya through difficulties stuck to shivam. preeto lost audience sympathy because of her unfeeling behaviour. it is true she was cheated by sarla and nandu but whatever sympathy she got she lost by her cheap behaviour.

I agree...and I am sure If Riya had accidentally married Amit. She wouldve tried to atleast work out that marriage.

Yes. That is because her father brought her up to be independant. Educated and bold. If she had been from a place like Shanti Sadan Riya would be same to same like Pritiya.

I am just glad that Ekta Kaul wasnt welll during this track or they wouldve shown her knowing Nandu-lucky truth instead of Nimmi and again made her a bali ka bakra.

Now i just want to see how Kaushalya reacts when she comes to know how Nimmi hid the truth too...

Oh poor thing indeed. Riya is no poor thing. she is the most selfish person as depicted here. CVS are showing her that way. Same as they show Priti as vamp lady.

Even Pritiya does not plot and plan. She was just a misguided character before she married Nandu. Unfortunate her love affair with Mohit ended in the ditch. But Mohit turned villain after wards to take revenge !!!! Before Pritiya was just a timid girl who used to stammer . remember? Even she was not so bad before.

Riya is not just stupid she was too irritating. She is worse than all the rude characters out there . She mocked Kusiya Shanti every one in the family except the menfolk. I hated that track. But it is not about me. Riya "surpassed" herself in the track. She attacked Nandu's parents with sickle. That was so stupid and funny. What was she trying to do ?

Preeti was tricked by nandu yes i agree it was the most screwed up thing ever but Preeti is the one who ran away preeti made Nimmi sit in the mandap and Preeti didnt even accept those crimes either did she ever say i am sorry for what happened Nandu is selfish for what he did but if Preeti wanted a way out of this marriage she should have been independent and done something about it perhaps get a job earn some money perhaps talk to nandu he changed for her cut her hair became a cool dude not saying that enough to forgive him for it

Shanti Devi stopped every woman from working. For her sewing , cooking and selling food are the only means acceptable. She does not want Nimmi to study. She does not want Riya to work Nandu is chaprasi. But would she let Priti work? She hated Nandu and what he did. Why would she tell him to improve himself?

Did she ever tell nandu go find another job she could have just told him that where he is willing to change so much she could have changed that as well... she taunted him so much agreed he shouldnt be forgiven at all but hey I tell you its better she married nandu than for her to run away and marry that mohit who turned out to be a villian even if nandu was the reason that he turned a villian the very fact that he did she would have been in a worse mess had she married mohit about vyom the same pari who is so nice to her would have been treating her like shit had she married vyom ...

She can tackle Pari at that time. Right now she is angry she lashes out on every one. Comeon if Riya can show sickle and call Shivam Maalik why cannot Priti turn vamp? After all she got stuck with Nandu. Why should Priti tell Nandu anything. Does he not know? The time he spends on playing Lucky he should have worked at improving his status. Found a better job. Why should Priti tell him anything?

even so she should have at least handled it maturely instead she doubted her younger sister blamed her sister in law cursed her parents and fought with the world over a crime she committed on the other hand she also pretty much gets influenced with what Pari and Sarla say mindless to say without using her brain for starters

She is just turning Vamp. She hates every one . She was rude to Kusiya She was rude to every one. She hated Nandu and she got stuck with him. for life. It is the fault of Shanti Sadan people Why blame Priti?

Riya is a pain agreed she is silly for putting up with shivams anger Khushiyas tantrums Shantis torture and Sarlas attempts to throw her out but one thing is for sure she does not accept defeat and does not run away why even when they tried to get shivam married to that hideous cow chanda she fought with the world its a different story she never fought with shivam after all that but she showed her strenght that she wont leave no matter what Riya is the much better character than Preeti will ever be no question about that

What defeat? She was an MBA they told. Her mom was a lawyer we were told. She had to choose the loser Shivam who is having no job, who hits anyone when angered. good for nothing . a household which is so regressive. She is able to survive only because she is an only daughter of wealthy parents. Otherwise she would have been like Priti and Nimmi.
