The main difference between like n love is that when you like someone you are awed by the good qualities of the person. That person being at your side means a lot to you. You are not ready to accept that the person can have wrong qualities too.
Similarly Shivaaaye is impressed by the self confidence n professionalism(although I still don't know what actually she did during the marriage excluding the marriage itself), her help to his family. He wants that Anika always stays by his side so he hated when Daksh proposed her n she accepted. He was not ready to believe that Anika had a ONS n charged money for it (until he got the proof). His liking is to the greatest limit
But when you love someone you are least bothered about their bad qualities but here Shivaaaye can not overlook the supposed bad quality(lack of naam khaandaan) of Anika. You want to stay by the person you love. But here Shivaaaye was easily marrying Tia (this time it wasn't forced) you don't trust the proofs against them but try to understand the point of view of the other person. But here Shivaaaye didn't even for once try to understand why if at all Anika went for the ONS
In fact I think Anika loves Shivaaaye. She chides herself for loving Shivaaaye but despite seeing the bad qualities of his she is attached to him. She wants to be for Shivaaaye that is why tries to sort out any issues in his life(which you people call nose poking) she never simply believes the allegations against Shivaaaye. When Tia told that he had given her the money to stay out of his affairs she went to Shivaaaye to ask his POV although she couldn't as Om took him away
So I feel Anika loves Shivaaaye but Shivaaaye just likes her
