Gul is guilty of romanticising manhandling in her previous shows but to her credit last night episode there was no trace of romanticization, it was plain manhandling, abusing and bullying. In the pool scene in the initial episodes where Shivaay was demanding an apology from Anika, the manhandling was romanticized but no, not in yesterday's episode. There was sad bg of 'ooh jaana' which was conveying Anika's heartbreak and shock for having fallen in love with this kind of man, it was not romantic it was just sad and painful. Directors and both the actors did a great job there.
