Hi5!
Even I used to visit the forum actively and comment but now I just don't feel interested anymore. Yes I'm very much interested in the show. And I will be very much looking forward to many analysis posts by memebers. Some of those posts are really good.
Having said that, even I feel that there is a mixup between opinions about Jenny and that about Maya. Jenny is the one who is brilliant-but since she plays Maya, some literally go to any extent to prove Maya's actions as right. Not everyone though. And I saw some blame on Jenny because they thought this was a bad choice for her- yes, you're POV, but I'm just intrigued that- HOW?! :P Isn't this gonna be a landmark for her career as Maya - literally the first lead in long time who actually is grey and will aim to mess up the hero's life if not done acc to her wish- rather than what we have always- the superheroine female bahu who works for fam and acchai ki murti . So Maya is actually one of the most challenging role ever played- so isn't this honestly Jenny's best role till date?
And the opp with Aneri- again not everyone, but some posts literally pick up the smallest mistake of Saanjh and drag Aneri ( SOME EVEN DRAG HER LOOKS) .
That, I can still understand- fanwars happen everywhere - but mostly when I visit this forum- I see this huge obsession of having a lovestory with a happy ending and endgame and all. And I just lose my interest straightaway. Like I was here for a cool thriller story. It honestly doesn't even matter if Maya is super pyscho- Like many here get defensive if we call maya as a psycho- And then there are like- "why everyone is cool with good girl bad boy story but not ulta" - And I'm like- I'm not even here for a lovestory. The gorgeous lead ending up with the hunk- sorting out their issues- isn't that what mainstream is?
I thoroughly enjoyed the initial days of this forum- where people actually used to deduce the symbolisms and all- @annhilation and shruti still do that- and it is amazing. Love reading their posts and analysis.
But then nowadays, there is lot of this endgame thingy and fanwars and shizz. And I'm like- Man- If there is a discussion between who is the killer- or in show ka context, what will maya do next- or something like that- then I'm all in. Possible thoeries etc. But I'm outta this romantic storyline shizz and all. And honestly, I myself got into a discussion about aneri's age which carried on for many pages and felt pretty much insignificant when I thought about it.
So in my case, it is not about tolerance or something, but I'm geniunely not in for endgame discussions or how arjun gives love to maya-sorta thing- atleast I would have been interested in such if this was a genuine romantic story about a troubled girl and how a guy sorts her out . But this for sure isn't the case of this show- atleast going by the description or the promos. - whoch clearly points out that this will be more of a thriller. :p
So yeah, even I'm leaving for the time being . Bye tc. :D
