She is the Queen Of Hearts' and he, a newly emerged superstar. Together, they are a dream team, not just for their fans but also for the filmmakers. Their pairing (on screen and off screen) has been extremely successful so far. Guess you know who we are talking about. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone or DeepVeer to their fans are one of the most loved jodis of the B-town today. But prior to the announcement of their next big film together, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati, there were reports of their break up. Deepika, who is coming up with their big Hollywood debut film xXx: Return Of Xander Cage, said she is not affected by these rumours', while the Befikre actor has been maintaining a stoic silence over the whole issue.

We have just chanced upon a video floating around on Instagram where Ranveer is seen interacting with his fans while promoting Befikre in Bradford. Fans ask him if he is seeing someone right now and started calling out Deepika Padukone's name aloud. Ranveer pondered for a moment before expertly dodging the question by saying, "Arjun Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor are fighting over me." Now, that does not answer the question, Ranveer!

Now let's refresh your memory! You would recall how vocal he has been about his relationship with the STUNNING Deepika Padukone in the past. It is an ancient history that the two met and hit it off on the sets of their first film together, Ram Leela, and have been together since. Now, though they first maintained that they are just good friends' DeepVeer slowly warmed up to the idea of opening up about their relationship. Ranveer stunned us by his public display of affection towards his lady love during the famous (or infamous!) AIB Roast video and later during Bajirao Mastani promotions last year. The Padmavati actor has always been his love-lorn self around Dippy and even touched feet of her parents at the Filmfare Awards last year after winning the Best Actor award! The xXx babe too has said how she treats Ranveer's parents as her own. The Bajirao Mastani actor even flew down to Bangalore to meet with Dippy's parents and hung out with them.

When quizzed about Ranveer , Deepika had said, "He is my best friend. I am emotional, sensitive and vulnerable and I hurt easily. I can be so naked in front of Ranveer... and I know he will never hurt me or take me for granted. That is the kind of trust and understanding we have." Ranveer too had professed how much she means to him and the fact he can't take his eyes off her when he sees her on the big screen. He was quoted saying, "To know her personally is a privilege. She is fiercely independent and I count on her as a support system." Then, came the big revelation when he hinted that he was ready to marry, around the same time. He had said, "I definitely want to survive live and see a happy ending in which Deepika and I live together happily ever after."

So, it is rather shocking that he dodged the question on Deepika at this latest fan interaction. At the Coldplay concert held recently in the city too, he was seen hanging out with Katrina Kaif while Deepika was seen chilling with the international sensation Chris Martin at the Shah Rukh Khan after party.

So, if we put two and two together, can we conclude that the Deepika-Ranveer chapter has ended? Or are they just going through a rough patch? Do we hear a million hearts breaking? Yes, we do.
