Frankly speaking, I think she's the most relatable character so far. Maybe it's just me, but it's how I felt.
The girl's been with Salim for 17 years. She doesn't even remember her biological father. Of course she would be attached to the current one. Also, she's a teenager who just now got hit with the fact that she'll lose the one guy in her life who's been her saviour. He's not only a father figure to her, he's been a rock. He's the one who saves her when she gets caught out late, who pampers her, who takes care of her mother and brother. He's been her 'Abu' in every sense. Of course Imam isn't at fault, but where is she at any? When you see from an outside POV, she might have got her father back, but if you see it from her POV, she's just now going to lose her father. I haven't watched the episodes yet where she's rude, but I would think it's her own insecurities showing, rather than her trying to be mean to Imaam.
Snehhaa! I am so so so so happy to see you on this forum and now please catch up with all the episodes so that we can have more discussions 🤗And as always you are bang on in your analysis!Totally agree that its very difficult for Shaira to suddenly feel any love or affection for a man who happens to be her biological father and especially after the whole 'Qubool hai' moment. But I do somewhere feel she needs to show a little bit of sensitivity considering what Imaan has gone through for 17 years. Whenever she's talking to him (She never does) or reacting to something he says or does, she looks so annoyed and disinterested. No one's asking you to run into his arms but one can at least fake some courteousness? I mean take the case of her own brother, Ayaan. He's gelled up so well with Imaan and in the new episodes that have been released on hotstar we see him calling him 'Dad' or 'Abbu' without hesitation and lets not forget Ayaan's ''Come onn" at his Dadi's stubborness over Imaan not being dead but just missing.Shaira can be sad and upset about the fact that all her plans of her mom's happiness got ruined because of his return but she can at least pretend to be glad about the fact that a man, missing since 17 years, in a war is finally back with his family and looks genuinely happy to be back.

Her abbu's happiness after 17 years for torturous darkness can never be equal to the dawning happiness of two well settled and established individuals Nazneen and Salim no matter what emotional challenges they had to go through.
