rahul just for once, whether inside or outside the club does not matter, what matters is Sona is waiting for Dev. if Dev cannot go then atleast as the elder in the family, he could have gone to pick up sona and inform her about the things at home along with the driver.
the worst part is when Ishwari came to him and spoke to him that sona might be stuck at office, he already said that dev sent the driver to pick her up. then could he not just add, lets wait for her to reach before we start the cake cutting???
All that matters to him is that Ishwari is happy, i understand brother can only think of sisters' happiness. what if sona picked a quarrel with Dev on the club issue, could dev be happy? in turn can ishwari be happy. mamaji could not have taken it for granted that Sona will be so quite and be willing to accept all the crap that is being thrown her way.
like what ishwari said on the next day of engagement fiasco, bade bhai hone ke naathe yeh mamaji ka farz tha ki woh ishwari ko galti karne se roke.. .naki ishwari se darke uske saare galath fiaslo mein haan sa haan milaye.
Mamaji is a big failure in every relation and dev looking up to him during crisis only worsens the situation.
honestly dev does not have a single relationship in his house that can help him realise the value of relations and so he is a mess when it comes to handling emotions.
