It's because sp is following the female 15 plus data n barc is following individual 4 plus data

Salil has clarified in this message

there are categories - urban / rural / rural plus urban/ individuals 15 plus rural / individual 15 plus urban and so on. but media buyers will always consider individual 4 plus urban. 15 anf 4 are age. the trps i give thats why you will find difference in the trp i give and you all get from fan club or actor's. like saathiyaa is 3.7 in female 15 plus so star and kept that. ishqbaaz is 1.4 but star has printed 2.2. also pardes in female 15 plus is 2.5. hope its clear.

Honestly this trp system of star plus is confusing so if they have their own calculations how will they compete with others cause according to barc colors is the no 1 channel

soon colors will join SP pattern too to market VOOT SP trying to market HOT STAR These SP trps are baarc +hot star

to be honest i liked SP's new system because many viewers watch online why they should not be counted ?At least the HOT star viewers deserves to be counted as well They pay to watch latest programs on it Channel earns through them too
