So, we see another similar situation where Sona now waits for Dev and he is unable to meet her before she waits for hours. We have previously witnessed Dev waiting for 5 hours when he wanted to meet Sona to request her to return to taking care of his mom. In both cases their mothers come to know of the wait but react in completely opposite manner.
In Dev's case: Sona was insulted beyond limit, was questioned for her work ethics, was shouted at, had to face so much drama, yet when Ishwari came to know that Sona had made Dev wait, she never bothered to even reason out and assumed that Sona has so much pride! Even when everybody's intention was her health, her only concern was that her son's every minute is precious and how dare somebody waste his time. All selfish.
In Sona's case: It is Dev's bday, Sona wants to make it special, is excited more than she would be for her own, wants to spend some time with him so that he can be free to spend the day with family, yet when Asha will come to know that Dev couldn't make it, she will reason out with Sona to see Dev's POV and not be selfish with her own expectations. All unconditional!
So sweet :)

Insulting your son's employee who happens to be your personal nutritionist is unprofessional and uncalled for.
However, Dev Dixit waited for his mother's nutritionist. Sona is waiting for her husband. Different things altogether

I thought all mothers are also same teaching their kids similiar stuff
but in Ishwari's case there is a vast difference between her and Asha
now both teach their kids not to be selfish however when the dynamics changes when Ishwari is teaching Dev she two types of teachings one that is meant for her daughters and the other meant for Dev only while Asha teaches both her son and daughter the same values and morals

Nicely, you stated the different view of both mothers.
Asha maa is a bliss, But here i think she just convinced Sona that its nothing wrong if Dev caught up with surprise from his family members... But she really figured out that in all this surprise they missed Sona??? I want to know the reaction of hers when she realizes it...

Very true.
In general mothers tend to try to make the children see sense and not to go on the war path. Instigating is not in their DNA but then, the more desi serials I watch I wonder if I'm from Mars or the CVs are from Mars...
