It's true that Ishita has aged gracefully while Shagun's look is inclined more towards showing her 4 rather than a normal lady in her 40s.

I'm a complete anti-Shaggy person and I mostly interact with DTians and Divanis so I really wanted to know if the look looks weird only to us or the non Ishita-ians too.

My mother is a full time AH fan and anti-DT, thankfully not a basher though she hates her.

So today during the first scene my mom was like 'so pretty'.

At that moment the screen had AH and I was like, ek favour karo aankhein donate kar do.

Then she was like no I'm talking about DT.

She is looking so good.

I couldn't contain my curiosity and ended up asking about AH's look.

She was like, "IDK. She looks funny. Wonder what's happened to her. Plus, she can't act."

This shocked me and I was stunned for some 5 seconds and I was like, could you please repeat? I really need to record this, though she didn't comply.

My mother cleared my confusion today.

It's not just us Divanis who find this new fringe cut weird.

Hope the makers soon figure out something better.

P.S. No hard feelings for AH.

Just hate Shagun.

Raina thanks for sharing that... I never knew hating a character or critiquing a bad actor was such a blasphemy till I had few posts of mine closed because of criticizing the character and the poor acting .. I have been part of another forum here on IF and we used to openly criticize the bad actor as that's part of the package when you're commenting regularly about the content of a serial.. where costume , editing to acting is all up for critiquing . But later realized the same was given a by pass if you're name calling another actor in the show.. that led a lot of regulars in my thread giving up on the forum as they were constantly slapped on their hand for writing anything negative about Shagun or AH.
Coming to Shagun I feel since the 7 year lap whoever has been styling Shagun's character has been missing it big time.. as I feel they themselves are confused about the status of Shagun character as frankly Shagun has gone through too many avatars for any character, even for a desi soap.. so maybe all we see is a reflection of the status quo vis a vis Shagun's character.

Lets see if they get the desired TRP for all this. This trip is full of Shagun and hide and seek which makes you question a lot. I personally think they have not used DIVAN well on this trip, its a shame Shagun drama took over.

Ah well based on what little I have seen, I still don't get the part about the necessity of the leap.. and yes other that IshRa looking delectable .. with few bit of romance thrown in picturesque locale and some nice moments of Raman with his kids.. it's been all about Shagun and her drama...if we expected romance in Australia track.. we're getting Yhm Shagun drama in Australia .. though the promo has been about IshRa and the kiddos with a glimpse of Shagun.. but actual
