What is the definition of male chauvinism?

Please tell me why Dev Dixit's statement that folding the clothes is a women's job does not qualify him to be a male chauvinist? If he said that he was too busy and tired to do these things I would have been OK but he specifically said that these are women's chores! 😡

You have given some good examples and thats is the reason we feel more disappointed with his behavior these days. If these words were uttered by Vicky, nobody would have commented even once ! I am so disappointed with his behavior today when he left Sona stranded in the road without a working phone because he could not his mom to wait for some time so that he could get her. He showed more eagerness when he drove home to hide the medical reports than to go to his wife who was waiting for him at midnight without a working phone. Sona was more worried about his sister when she got a phone call from NiKi that she was locked up in a room than this coward who just had to tell his mother that he was going to bring his wife. No ! He sends his driver and then does not even wait for her before he cuts the cake! He is not at concerned about her safety !
