The Mauryan army had 4 types of troops- elephant (gaja), chariot (ratha), cavalry (turanga), and infantry (pada).
Even in Mahabharath yudh, they engaged chariots and elephants. Here simply with the infantry(pada) warriors and a handful of steads they portray the war scene(??)
For the first time CGM has an organized army on his side.
One marvellous view..the formation of the army..namely Vyuga(Vrishika on magadh and arrow on CGM side) on both sides were well displayed Initially both sides were charging to cause penetration of the enemy line by holding their own Vyugas. These forces combined together presenting us an amazing aerial view
They had grouped their forces and ranged them and this balancing act was meticulously shown
On Magadh side extremely skilled warriors as per their status quo were sent to the front(sena nayaks, his sons and finally the nandh)
BUT
in CGM side it looks like a one man army.Chandra charged and fought with incredible speed.Tirelessly he crushed them by flying, rolling forward and somersaulting. The extremely skilled Chandra aggressively fought out hand to hand
All in all it is highly melodramatic ,but we had a jolly good time and the battle field engaged us fully
So complete responsibility falls on his shoulders..no on his hands
The concern and anxiety on Acharya's face,Nandini's lamentations are all superb
Again Rajat has proved that he is incomparable and matchless
