I am totally confused...
Girl will be luck to have husband like Dev or no?
We all know how we love Dev & Sona character. The love & respect they have for each other.
I do not know what to write...my brain has stopped working...

I guess all relationships are very complex... I guess the girl just looses both her very own family & new family (whatever love and/or respect partners have) after marriage. Also if she wants to keep all happy, she can never be self after marriage with both her own Family (before & after)...as this will hit her back in long run.

Elders say is very true...that you should never be open book to your husband in case of your family before marriage...I always said that it is wrong and thought partner to be best friend...but I thinks elders said this with their experience

Interesting post

I don't know much about relationships or marriage for that matter
all I know if I marry a girl and she makes her family second if she gives no importance to her parents then surely that girl will someday retiliate against respecting my parents .
You marry a girl that firstly loves and respects her parents so its easier for her to do the same with her husbands parents but the girl should not be blinded that her parents are not important the husband too should respect her parents the same way he respects his parents .

I know Sonakshi understands Dev the best but sometimes she needs to confront him she needs to let him know she differ from his POV she and her family needs the same amount of respect as she gives him and his family
I know it will take a long time before Dev really starts his growth and grow into an indiviual man without the support of his maa's emotional blackmail and deep dependancy

Marriage is a gamble - either it pays off or rips you off!
Sona marrying Dev was a tricky proposition - they was a lot of love but certain elements of this relationship were so glaring that they could not have been ignored.

I understand the confusion - I have been through this too. The key to any trusted relationship is to 1) never take each other for granted, and 2) honest communication. I think both are missing from Dev's side.

Irrespective of whether you are married or not, every girl needs to be strong, financially and emotionally independent. Always prepare yourself for the worst. When the going gets tough, only the tough gets going. There is nothing wrong in being open to your husband or in-laws, but keep testing waters, if they don't appreciate it, a woman needs to sense her intuition and remember when to take a step back.

In this case, I feel Sona will first try to resolve emotionally, but then she will realize the ingrained issues and will sadly should move on, until Dev redeems himself fully.
