I agree, their sensitive tender scenes are lovely to watch, but I feel the usp is still the nok-jhonk...and I am so glad it will be back in some form at least!😆

I did watch pretty regularly beech mein, if that counts. All the "humare beech kuch hai" conversations were some of the most enjoyable things in this show, but then it just got boring and meri interest bhi GUL ho gayi. 😆

Waise you'd think Shivaay and all his confused projection of feeelings would be enough to give the audience whiplash, but then this show does everything in double-triple dose so no wonder they got a multi-purpose Chotiwala to pile onto the already confused khichdi of tracks...jisko jaisa flavour pasand ho, achaar daal kar kha lo. 😆

This show badly needs crowd control. Pehle toh decide kar lein ki villain kaun hai- ek Gayatri off hui toh Tia, Bua, Daksh, sab triple sundae ki tarah ek saath aa dhamke. 😕😆 I for one don't understand why they need serious villains in the first place, they have a big cast and enough prickly family dynamics and personality clashes in place for the requisite conflicts already.

But I know what you guys mean, I used to watch this show for the fun and light-hearted approach to the romance and even the overdependent sibling relationships, and it all seems to have gone for a toss in favor of OTT melodrama now. The thing I appreciate about Shivaay-Anika is this tentative friends/allies vibe to them despite the attraction, and some of the best moments in the show came from the sparring these two used to do in that mode, instead of your usual Gul-style angsty shouting matches. But looks like the mela of villains is here to stay for now, toh chalo sab adjust kar lo. 😆

Agar tumhe samajh aaye toh mujhe bhi samjhana, yeh ho kya raha hai 😆

SHAADI se achha koi track hota hai Gul show mein? 😆 I say I am here at the perfect time. 😆 Usually you might be right but technically is show ka "shaadi" track day one se chal raha hai...one almost shaadi ho bhi chuki thi Shivaay ki and now they've just restarted the whole cycle from the beginning...frankly by this point, the whole shaadi hype has long since run out of steam...show mein aaye din kisi na kisi cheez ki party ho rahi hoti hai...the random tacky thermocol decorations hanging around in the air seem permanently stuck there...it's a new low in production values😆

@BW: i agree with what you said... Characters ki consistency is dependent on scenes rather than on the story or situation as a whole.. If only these little connections were taken care of.. For instance, i liked how they are showing shivaay worried about daksh and anika even during his obro scenes, that's a good start at least.
Brushstrokes se character blooming dikhao, not hasty and disjointed.
But ab kya karein, jo hai wahi hai 😆

Randomly jumping into song, anger, angst, romance, comedy modes is dizzying sometimes! But i try to see it only within a scene within that context coz what's the point, no?

But I do feel ya!
