The only way her failed attempts would be less annoying if this is building the foundation for the promo and future tracks. It makes sense after trying to help him all she got was her word amounts to nothing, insulting accusations, and a creepy stalker thanks to Tia so naturally she will be upset even after everything is out in the open. I would love to see her refusing to listen to him like he is doing to her now. I don't think it will a hate marriage but both parties won't be happy. The promo could be a pre or post wedding apology not a confession, but she is done with him.
In his defense, she never has proof and he has been giving her a pass for awhile now. I don't want to take his side but her over-eagerness is making it impossible to hate him š Yes, he may have developed a soft spot for her, but the fact remains he hasn't changed. I don't know why she keeps pushing this issue. You can't convince someone something they don't want to believe. It's impossible and a waste of time. Her word clearly isn't enough...move on. Time will reveal the truth.
He doesn't love or respect Tia, but we are supposed to believe he trusts her unconditionally...sure, why not š
I highly doubt his blind trust applies to anyone other than his brothers. His "faith" in Tia is not coming from a genuine place nor does it have anything to do with her social standing. He is willfully choosing to be unhappy because of his beliefs. He doesn't love Tia but Anika isn't good enough. This point in the story he isn't willingly to overlook what he sees as Anika's shortcomings and we have seen just how much of a doormat Tia is, which he probably considers one of her redeeming qualities. To him, the consequences of marrying who he really wants is far more dire than marrying Tia. It's a classic case of the "better the devil you know than the devil you don't." Both choices are unpleasant and it's a lose-lose situation so he went with the familiar (pre-planned) choice, Tia. Other than his mom no one wants this marriage to happen, including him so it will be interesting to see what happens.
Of course the promo could be a misdirect, but I hope it's not.
