Maan was narrating his past while our geet was enjoying her food

I was a ry to invery reserved person,my only frnd was adi who knew me inside out and my competitor was arnav ,son of famous politician,as his father party was ruiling one he always behaved as he owned this world,he always try to insult others ,as I opposed him when he was ragging dev so from that day our differences started,I always used to ignore him as it may become a nuisance,but as I hurted his ego once,he always find ways to insult either me r my frnds .one such day I was in canteen with adi when out of no where sameera came and took seat beside me,it schoked us both as we know she was frnd of arnav and we know arnav was about to propose sameera soon,so basically she know arnav disliked me most and her sudden appearance with me may create another scene,so adi and I decided to move from there.as I stoodup sameera grabbed my wrist and requested me that she needs to talk with me.even though we r in public place I cant trust her sudden TALK with me ,so I asked adi will b here if she had any problem then she may drop her talk,being arnav close one I am highly alarmed,she just nodded .

Mk:sameera,its almost tym,we need to get back to classes will u please start your walk...

Sam:mk,woh,i...i...

Mk:sameera will u finish your I ,I had to go..

Sam:Mk ,I love u..

Adi who was just sipping his water spilled out hearing sam words and started coughing badly,sam was quite embrassed seeing their reactions...

Mk:r u in your sense,u r saying u love me,when u clearly knew arnav loves u,and he hate me.wait was this a game of arnav as he was quite failed to trap me and spoil my image...

She said this words with tears in her eyes,maan sighed and looked at adi who was still gapping at sam,he just nodded and went away,while sam laughed to herself.well thid news spread like house on fire and as expected arnav came to maan enraged.

Arnav:u didn't play well mk,u back stabbed me,woowing sam,u thought u will get back to me, how funny!!?

Mk:arnav,u r misunderstanding..

Arnav:am i!?ok tell me what was u and sam doing in canteen yday.

Mk:she came to talk ...

Arnav(he cutted maan words):talk ya propose.comeon mk,whole clg knew she confessed and u agreed.even after knowing I love her and was about to propose,u played well,u want to hurt me,u did,but remember mk arnav never forgives and u had to pay and tell that love of yours she too needs to pay for playing with my feelings.

Before maan could even say something he rushed from there,he wants to clear that he never agreed to sam proposal but seems like things went out of way,it was not new to him to handle arnav craziness,but his words about sam did scared him,he didn't want any thing to harm her ,her fault was just to fall for the wrong person and another person was crazy for her,so he decided to look after sam for few days.

Days were rolling normal actually very normal which was quite abnormal,arnav was quite from that day, he stopped troubling not only maan but others also,he was almost silent which was confusing all,mostly maan he couldn't understand why arnav changed suddenly if by mistake they crossed paths ,he will just leave from there ,no fights no taunts arnav was behaving as there was never differences btn them,for few days maan thought his silence was indicating a strom he was always made sure dev,adi,he and sam were never alone,dev who was unaware of whole fiasco was cribbing with maan behavior,but with days maan almost believed that arnav was actually changed,so he dropped his gaurds.

One such day when maan and adi were returning from buying few books,they were waiting for a cab when a shriek caught their attention,they both moved to see few people gathered at the centre of road ,but vehicles were moving from other side but none gave attention to the crowd even some media people was also there recording something ,maan thought mayb someone got hurt by a vehicle,and people were fearing to take care of the victim ,he and adi came to see only to get schok.

There was a pregnant woman was crying in pain and people were only watching instead of helping her and the thing boiled his blood was media was covering her pain as news,he made his way towards the lady who was crying in her husband lap and her husband begging others to cal for ambulance ,as their car got repaired ...

Husband:plz sir,someone cal the ambulance,plz...

Maan:what u people r watching instead of helping them,and u pointing at media,r u insane instead of helping them u r making it as news,disgusting...

Husband:sir,plz cal the ambulance plz..

Someone from crowd said there is no hospital near,any ambulance may take 20 min to reach

Maan:so what ,atleast any body can help her to reach their in their car

No vehicle was ready to stop

Maan:turned to media,he asked in rough tone:did u have any car...when they said no,cal the ambulance ,until I will try to stop any car

He ran his fingers in hair and watched the cars moving from other side,he tried to stop two cars which zoomed almost past him,not even bothering about the crowd,his patience gave up he found a car coming from far,he showed his hand to stopbut he know seeing the speed this one too was ready to zoom bujt he picked astone from side and the moment car passed him,he aimed the glass which broke in pieces making the car to stop.

The moment the person stepped out from the car the camera focus was on him,which neither maan nor the person paid attention,the middle aged man who was enraged came towards maan

Man:hw dare u!?

Maan:sry sir,but u were not ready to stop,but we need urgent help..so..

Man:is this the way to ask help,by breaking my car...

Maan:listen sir,I am very sry for what I did,even I am ready to bear the expenses,bjut plz help the lady she was in her labour ,plz sir..it can risk her life...

Man:so what,she is in labour,in a day so many r dying,what if she too die,for her u damaged my new car,u bloody...

Maan:mind your words,till now,I am respecting for your age,but u didn't even care for a pregnant woman,what kind of man u r!!?

Man:u want to see,what kind of man I am!?do u even know with whom u r talking!?

Maan:I don't care whom ever u r!!?

Man:I am rudra singh raizada mp of this state,u dare to mess with me...

Maan:being an mp u should care for your people,but men like u don't even deserve respect..

Before that man could say something ambulance arrived and maan helped the lady giving a disgusting look to that man but none noticed the media people covered the whole issue and they got the hot news for tmrw,they silently left from there,maan and adi too returned from there..

But the actual surprise they faced was next morning seeing the visitors he had,maan was confused seeing the people but one look at the newspaper he knew what brought them here,the people were from opposition party they want to degrade rudra and maan was the perfect chance,but maan didn't agree to their deal,at last they even threatened him,but maan being maan didn't give a damn to them,the next surprise maan faced was adi confirming rudra was arnav father,but both were amused seeing arnav not reacting,like maan ,arnav too was disinterested in whole thing.but most surprised one was sameera ,she throwed herself in his arms the moment she saw him.

Sameera:mk,u r the real hero,I am so proud to b your...

Maan:frnd samera,u r my frnd

Samera face fell hearing him:mk,I love u

Maan:samera plz I hope you remember our talk.

Sam:mk didn't u feel anything for me...not even once...

Maan:u r my frnd sameera,as a frnd I did feel respect for u but nothing more.

Maan left leaving sam in tears,sam turned to leave when she found arnav standing there with hurry eyes.

Even though with passing days rudra fiasco died but people didn't stop pestering maan to support them,how much maan tried to make them understand they heared none,slowly they started to trouble him in name of dev and knowing sam and adi were his frnds they too faced some odd situations,but they all decided to ignore things with upcoming exmas but maan whole worry was dev who was always out of hostel in name of party and outing,his grades were lacking and he was slowly addicting to alcohol,maan became more strict toward dev to protect which made dev to think that his brother was ruiling his life with all the problems and studies they successfully finished their exams,as man finished his second year and dev his first it was a relaxing day for them maan and dev were about to leave for home next day but dev insisted to join the party which was arranged by few students both seniors and junious,how ever maan disintrested, with dev and sam pestering they decided to join party that night.

On reaching they found few members from their group too even arnav too was there ,sam and adi were chatting with few frnds when dev offered him drink with asilly smile,maan took it and he too was enjoying with frnds but when his turned inti two and three , he didn't realized and he decided to join adi ya dev as his eyes r getting blur,his head was spinning with tym but sam was the one who came to rescue maan and he remembered she was taking him to her car...
