Part 1
Arnav Singh Raizada believed only in money and power.He didn't care about anything else.The only exception was his sister.He was ready to do anything for her. He had girl friends but he never gave them his heart.He didn't believe in the concept of marriage.
ASR was a self made leading business man in the country.He lived with his Nani,sister Anjali,brother Aakash,uncle and aunt in his beautiful,elegant mansion.He spoke little,rarely smiled and was feared by all except his sister and his childhood friend Aman.
His business group, i.e AR groups had several branches in the country and abroad.It was well managed by him in coordination with his brother as Assis.CEO and Aman as secretary/Manager.
He was seeking alliance for his sister and brother and at last could find a suitable boy,Raj, a leading chartered accountant .First of all Arnav appointed him as the CA for his business groups,observed him and then only he forwarded the proposal.His father ,Somnath,was a well known doctor and his mother was a distant relative of Arnav's aunt.Arnav fixed Aakash's marriage with Raj's youngest sister Payal . Arnav requested Raj to stay with him after marriage because he could not even imagine his sister away from him. But Raj requested him to wait for 6 months till his parents come back from abroad after her sister's delivery.
Somnath: Arnav,you can visit her at any time know?
Arnav was not happy but agreed reluctantly.
Nani wanted to seek alliance for Arnav.She said:Arnav,it is high time that you should marry.
Arnav:I've already mentioned that I don't believe in the concept.
Anjali:Chote,this opinion will change when you meet a girl who conquers your heart.
Arnav:Di,please don't talk rubbish..it's not going to happen.
Nani:Chote,You know how sad we're at your decision?
Arnav:Why should you?It's my life..
Tomorrow we're going to Raj's house.
Arnav's aunt manorama:Oh,my God..I've appointment in the parlour.She hurried to her room.Nani looked at her with disapproval.
Arnav and his family arrived at Somanth's family the next day..All the relatives of Somnath were present.The marriage was fixed.The dates of all the ceremonies were announced.
Somnath asked them to be present for a religious ceremony at the near temple in the next week.Arnav didn't believe in god but he decided to be a part of it for his sister whom he loved very much.In fact she was the only person he loved in the world.
Everyone was inside the temple.He was waiting outside the temple .He was leaning on his car.An auto stopped near him and from that auto a girl stepped outside.She was wearing a light pink dress.She had long hair and it was plaited.She didn't wear ornaments except a small earring.She had flawless skin. She had swan like neck but it was her eyes with dark eyelashes that had done wonders.Arnav stared at her.She was coming near and suddenly as though she felt somebody watching her ,she looked up at him.She stared at him.She saw the most irresistible face with the most expressive,attractive eyes.Both were staring at each other.They couldn't move. the girl's eyes, looking up into his, were held as if spell-bound.
A voice made them jump.
Khushi..what are you doing there?
An elderly lady was calling her.
She was totally embarrassed and quickly turned and left.
Arnav wanted to see her again.She was very lovely ..so lovely,and there was something so attractive about her which he didn't feel for any other woman.
He wanted to follow her but remained where he was.After sometime he could see his family coming down through the steps in front of the temple.Behind them was coming Raj's family and among them he saw her again.She was coming in between Raj's mother Hema and sister Payal.
Arnav had eyes only for her.
Arnav and family went to Raj's house.Somnath took him aside and said.
Somanth:Mr.Raizada, I've one request to you.
Arnav:Please call me Arnav and what is the request?
Somnath hesitated to answer.
Arnav:Please come on uncle
Somnath:My daughter Payal and her cousin sister ,my brother's daughter,are very much attached to each other.One month after marriage me and Hema are going with our eldest daughter for her first delivery.We'll be back only after 6 months.In our absence,if Anjali comes to stay with her family if she can also be accommodated it would be very helpful.. Arnav:Is she married?
Somnath:No...
Arnav:I have no objection but would her parents allow?
Somnath: She lives with us.
Arnav: ok.Anyway Di is there to take care.
Somnath:Thank you
He had no idea that it was the girl he met near the temple.

PART 2
The engagement of Anjali and Aakash were on the same day. It was a function for near relatives and close friends of both the families. Media was not allowed. Arnav and relatives were waiting in the venue for Raj's family.They arrived and were coming towards where Raizada family was waiting.They were received and were guided to the venue.Arnav was still standing at the entrance receiving the guests.Then he saw her again.She was coming out of a car carrying a few packets with her.She looked very beautiful in a green saree .Arnav was staring at her.She was coming near.She looked very calm and composed.One of the packets fell down. He took it and was going to hand over it to her.She looked up and saw him.For a moment they forgot the surroundings and stood there looking at each other.He couldn't take his eyes away from her .She couldn't take her eyes from the soulful eyes.But Arnav saw a fear in her eyes. Aman's voice interrupted that beautiful moment.
Aman:Arnav,what are doing here?It;s time for the ceremony.
Arnav gave the packet to her.She didn't say anything but left immediately.
Aman:Ehh?Who's that?
Arnav:I don't know.Let's go
He noticed that she was simple and was wearing only earring as ornament.Her hair was plaited.Arnav wanted to see it open.Then he cursed himself for the thought."Why I'm bothered about her?
Arnav saw her standing near Payal.The ceremony started .Arnav and Khushi were very much aware of each other throughout the ceremony. They stole glances.
After the ceremony,Payal was introducing her to everyone.Then Arnav understood that it was about her that Somnath was talking.He felt happy and wondered about his feeling.
Before getting inside the car with Payal she looked at him again and he stared at her and realized that he wanted to see her again.
Arnav Singh Raizada was totally disturbed for the next few days..Aman noticed it.He asked.
Aman:What is it yaar?You are disturbed?Why?
Arnav:No..nothing
Aman:What about your date with Riya?
Arnav:Not today.

Mehendi and Haldi were in the respective families but Sangeeth was conducted in the banquet hall of AR buildings.Only the family members and very close friends were present. Arnav saw her again during the function.In fact he was very eager to see her.Almost all the young peple were dancing and singing but he saw her watching everything quietly.She was enjoying but was sitting there calm and cool.
Arnav was standing near Anjali and Raj.
Anjali:Raj,why your cousin Khushi is not interested in dancing?
Raj:She is a very simple and calm person. She speaks less but is very loving and caring.
Anjali:Her parents?
Raj:She is brought up by my parents.
Anjali:Her parents alive?
Raj: Yes..but she grew up with us
Anjali didn't probe into the matter much.Arnav found it mysterious.
Arnav moved to a corner with less lights and he stood there watching her every movement.
A woman went and said something to Khushi and she stood up and went outside the hall with her.
Arnav slowly left the hall and searched. He saw her coming with the lady.She passed by.He looked back and he saw her also looking back at him.She quickly looked away.
Sangeet was over and next was the wedding ceremony.
Arnav Singh Raizada started experiencing some unknown feeling within him.He was disturbed and became angry for even silly matters.
Anjali:Chote,what's wrong with you?It's better you take rest for a few days.Did you have a quarrel with your girlfriend?
Then only Arnav remembered his date with Riya.
He called her and said:Riya,I'm coming.
At a restaurant,during dinner,he tried his level best to concentrate in what Riya was saying.But a pair of eyes with dark eyelashes was disturbing him every moment.He couldn't enjoy a single moment and dropped a very disappointed Riya at her flat and went home.At night,he stood near the window of his bedroom looking at the sky,enjoying the fragrance of flowers from his garden, her eyes haunting him.He said to himself:"No..I won't allow this to happen to me."But he was wrong.
