Iqbal Khan to enter Zee TV's show Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani

Iqbal Khan, who was last seen in Waaris, has started shooting for Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani

Popular TV actor Iqbal Khan is all set to make a comeback on television through Zee TV's show Ek Tha Raja Ek thi Rani as the new lead opposite Rani played by Esha Singh. Iqbal has started shooting for the show and shot his entry with Eisha Singh. Iqbal was last seen in & TV's show Waaris in a guest appearance. Iqbal khan is known to play second leads and has been a part of shows like Pavitra Rishta , Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli and Kavyayajali in his career. Iqbal's entry will stir the love story of Rani and Raja in the show.

Raja and Rani will be seen separated in the show as Bindhu will succeed in creating rift between them. At this juncture Rani will meet a mystery man who will be become friend philosopher and guide. Iqbal will be seen bonding with Rani but he will be doing so with a mission. The show will have a strong triangle now and give Raja and Rani's love story the much needed needed push.

Meanwhile Surekha Sikri stint in the show as Badi Rani has got over. She shot her death scene last evening. Rani was shown killing her and avenging the death of her parents Raja Indravdan and Gayatri. Surekha has quit the show as she will be doing Star Plus's new show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil. Incidentally this show stars Dhrashti Dhami, the original lead of the show.

Meanwhile Iqbal Khan fans will get to see Iqbal in a romantic show after a long time after Tumhari Pakhi . He later did a show with Mona Singh Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do as well but that didn't work well. Iqbal has done many shows like Kawayanjali, Karam Apna Apna. He was launched by Ekta Kapoor in Kaisi Ye Pyaar Hai with Neha Bamb. Iqbal has done films like Fu2oosh , Bullet etc. He later did shows like Sanjog Se Bani Sangini , Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli , Choona Hai Aasman and Pavitra Rishta. Iqbal also participated in Khatro Ke Khiladi .
