Here It Goes.
"The story of life is quicker than the blink of an eye, the story of love is hello, goodbye."
The city of light had gone dark.
An errie silence captivated whole Dehradun in a viscous fright. The landmarks that were during the day filled with hustle now had turned gloomy. It was 3:00 am of a wintery December, no lights, no voices just mind numbing silence.
She sat on the bench of a park near her parent's house , sorry deceased parent's house. Life had changed in a giffy after her parents death. She can never in her existence forget that fateful night of her 17th birthday , the night she lost her parents. The car crash not only snatched her Ammi-Abbu but also took away her hope to live.
The gusty winds flowing in the park kissed her soft strands making them dance in the park light. Suddenly she heard someone approach the bench that she was sitting on. She looked around at the person and sensing a raw emotion breathed in despair.
After what seemed like an eternity she got up and taking her stick walked away from the person who was mesmerized seeing her.

A man of about 26 sat on the bench recalling his day's events. It had been 20 years since his mother died due to leukemia. He was 6 at that time quite immature to understand why his mother had to leave. His father married almost a year later his Ammi died bringing in a vamp of a woman in disguise. Shireen Rashid ahmed Khan was every bit as cunning as fox.
He remembered how she distanced him from his father, the only family member he was left with. Rashid Khan (his Abbu) was a busy man when he turned 10. It was too childlike of him to try and get close to his father again when he had fathered a son and a daughter from his step mother.
"You're not good in anything !" said Rashid after Shireen had put words into his mouth. The little boy in the man still needed love, he needed to prove himself. For that he would had to go independent.
It was Now or Never .

The day began with the hearing of chirpy birds and a comfortable sunlight. She sat in her shop setting the paintings she had made for the exhibition after some months when her friend Uttara entered.
"Sweetoms ..I've got a great news for you !" said Uttara.
"Really ?..Is there again a party you want to take me to ?" she replied sarcastically.
"Shut up. .. I got you a person who is willing to rent a room in your house " Uttara announced happily while the girl told her friend that she'd like to interview the person before any further commitments.

After about two days he was standing outside a small semi-detached house situated in a quite area of Dehradun. The house had a mini garden that contained pretty roses allover. The scent of the flowers captivated his heart into an unknown comfort that he didn't even get in his own mansion.
Putting his foot forward and clutching his bag firmly he knocked on the door twice. Uttara his friend's girlfriend opened the door and led him inside the drawing room. She called for the girl who was supposedly about to take his interview. There was a slight movement at the end of the room and there came the most pretty girl he'd ever laid his eyes on. She was the one he saw in the park some days ago. He was going to live with this beauty ?!
"Wait !..there's a slipper there." said Uttara and helped the girl find her way to the sofa, this gesture of her puzzled the man quite very much.
"Hi ..Asad Ahmed Khan !" the boy introduced himself .
"Hello ,Zoya...Zoya Farooqui" she looked past him and placed her hand forward in the direction of the vase kept beside him.
He looked towards Uttara who told him to be calm and talk to him afterwards.
"So what do you do Mr. Khan ?" Zoya asked.
"Umm...call me Asad ...I'm actually an editor in Dehradun Times I want to open a Printing press of my own in future." he replied.
"Hmm..Your parents ?" she asked.
" Dead " he said.
After a wee bit more questions Zoya permitted him to stay in her house on the monthly rent bases. Uttara sighed happily and taking Zoya back to her room pulled Asad out of the house immediately.
"She can't see ?!" he asked.
"I'm sorry i should have told you...she was 17 when she lost her parents and well her sight in a car crash."
"How does she lives alone ?"
"She was there in one of those blind people's organization she's trained from scratch."
" What does she do ?"
" She's an artist !"

Days rolled by very quickly Asad had moved in almost after a week in zoya's house. He had moved his belongings in the room adjacent to that of zoya's. Though she couldn't see she was quite capable of doing her work all by herself. It was as if she knew everything by heart where the sofa was kept, where will be any particular utensil, where was her wardrobe everything.
It took time for both of the parties to become comfortable to each other's company. Yet there was an inferiority complex in zoya. She never talked much and tried to keep the conversations minimal.
"You want to watch a movie together Zoya?" asked Asad.
"Umm.. actually Asad I don't like going to movies or shopping etc. most of my clothes are brought by Uttara. I hope you are fine by this ?" she asked.
"Why do you want to cut yourself from the outside world ?..why do you feel so inferior ?"asked Asad.
"I'm not answerable to you , You are my rentier and I your renter. You have no right to interfere in my life."
She spoke and left from there like a swift animal and closed the door with a bang. It has only been 4 months since they've been living together and Asad has sensed a feeling note so strange to him in her. Who can understand the feeling better than him after all his whole life was based on the inner sadness she's keeping. Plus he couldn't deny the attraction he felt towards her in past 190 days.
"I'm sorry Zoya ..I didn't want to hurt you but you've got to come out of your shell. You've become so silent these days you weren't like this before I moved here Uttara told me you were fine before !!. Please don't do wrong to yourself..."
He spoke loudly and then went to his room just beside hers.
Here at the other side of the door say Zoya with her hands locking her knees. Tears just flew from her eyes continuously. The truth was that she had somehow started to feel a strange feeling towards Asad which she wasn't comfortable with at all.
*_~_~_*
After a couple days Zoya was back to her usual self. Not chirpy or anything just how she used to be that is simple. She wanted to talk to Asad yet couldn't it wasn't that she didn't want to, but she couldn't muster up so much courage to do so and one day after dinning together it all erupted like a volcano.
"What the hell is your problem ?"
said Asad.
"What is your problem ?" asked Zoya looking past him towards the window.
"Zoya enough of your nonsensical behavior now. I've had enough of you. It's been quite a time since I'm trying to deny my feelings but not anymore. Yes Zoya Mariyam Farooqui I've fallen..." but before he could finish Zoya's hands stopped him to speak further.
"Don't say anything that you'll regret afterwards.. Leave me and never talk about this again ." she said and tried getting away from his grip but all in vain.
"No one can stop me now for I've lost time like sand. Just hear me now and then decide what's bigger your ignorance or my affection."
he declared and looked in her eyes lovingly.
"I love you Zoya Mariyam Farooqui and at the end of the world I'll still do. There's no stopping, no judgments to be made I'm here and will be and want you to be here too so I can keep proving that yes honey I've fallen and fallen hard for you. Let's create a much needed hell for ourselves and kick the heaven world's said to be. Let's be ourselves and then a new world will be ours to keep. The one which we had constructed..."
He completed with tears in his eyes.
"You've opted yourself an entire pack of hell, I'm not a simple woman. I can't see the love in your eyes for me Asad. I'm so pained, so sorrowful , I will take you to a whole lotta sadness from being happy than you are right now. It's better to leave alone than die with me everyday..."
She said.
"If you're fire I want to be burned, If you're ice I want to be frozen...I love you like moth , I'm so drawn to you I can't stop loving you.. Will you marry me ?"
he asked.
She stood there like a statue looking upwards while he was on his knees before her. She held her head for long time and then nodded in approval.
"I will ..but remember one thing that I'm a fragile woman Asad . If you ever decide to doubt on your decision..."
Before she could complete he stood up and kissed her so urgently that she almost fell back . Their lips danced together to the tunes of the winds flowing by , their tongues mingling together exploring each other's souls. Marking one's inhibitions and insecurities as their.
And then nothing else mattered.
