Sakshi's expressions leave me amazed. I can literally cry for her when she is feeling inferior to Devanshi - like when her mother scolds her or like when the women ignored her and want to ply the green chudi's on Devanshi.
I find her character much more relate-able and real than Devanshi's character. It is so easy to see how she struggles between her love and jealousy for Devanshi.

Sakshi has a complex role, no doubt. It's only the mother's fault for bringing jealousy among such friendly sisters and also their father is to be blamed for doing whatever his wife is telling him to do.

Sarla's hatred towards KS is so strong that she only sees Devanshi as a weapon to defeat KS. She wants to give best life to Sakshi. But, her hatred didn't allow her to see what Sakshi is feeling? Her own daughter is pining for her mother's love.

The mother sow the seeds of jealousy. Everyone around them is now watering these.

In a way, Sarla has no reason for Sakshi to like or even get along with Devanshi. Her ultimate goal must be that Sakshi uses Devanshi her slave and make money off her for the rest of their lives.

She is not out just to defeat KS or take revenge from KS. She is also very greedy and wants KS's power/money for herself and her daughter.

@bold - I think at some level she understands what Sakshi is feeling, but she believes right now it is more important to keep Devanshi under control with her fake love. I think she reasons that once Sakshi grows up and understands that she did all this for her (Sakshi's) well-being, Sakshi will come back to her.

She does not care a bit if Sakshi and Devanshi are friends/like each other or not. It is not a part of her plan.

I think both Sakshi and Devanshi are doing a great job in their respective roles.
