Hi Everyone,

How are you all, my dear friends ??

I am not sure if we have ever discussed this earlier

Would you like to see Mishal in either a MYTHOLOGICAL or HISTORICAL role ?

If YES, any specific characters you have in mind ?

If NO, any other unconventional role you prefer to watch him in??

I had once heard him saying (i don't remember which IV 😕) that he used to like mythological and historical shows/movies earlier but now those concepts dont evoke much interest in him.. And what does not interest mishal, i too would not even imagine him in such kind of shows.

Although i have seen many historical serials and have actually liked the actors like mohit, shaheer, sid, gurmeet, rajat and others who had potrayed those roles of royal princes and kings, but I dont know how much i will like to see mishal in a costume show..

The actor who used to wear black, deep brown/blue suited booted pathani clothes as Dutta, the cold blooded don and who had a clourlful wadrobe as the hapy go lucky, cutiepie, much adorable vakeel babu aka viplav, honestly I dont want to see him heavily decked up in a mytho/history based show...

Thodi selfish hoon mein..😛 I dont want mishal's whole sexy body covered up like a Raja.. Haan agar ram banega aur 200 episodes tak jungle mein shirtless ghoomega, then i don't think i will have much problem🤣

Okay jks apart, ermmm actually i would love to see him in a different kind of lovestory, not the usual laila majnu types.. I would love to see him again in a promising role like Dutta and Viplav.. These two are evergreen. Cant forget them.. Missing the later one a lottt these days.. Oh how i was used to the daily doses of IKRS.. i miss my good old days..

P. S. Haan yaad aya.. In an IV during the Laagi times when they were shooting for a mandir sequence where dutta would be surrouded by goons, there i heard him saying that he doesn't like historical/ mythological shows😆😆

Good topic dear! Got me imagining...

If it's a mytho character I would like him playing the role of Arjun-great skillful handsome warrior...only aspect which I don't like attached to this valiant hero is his multiple marriages.

In a historical role I could see him essaying the character of Prithviraj Chauhan...lot of romance associated with this king and his feats which have been the subject of folk-lore

I know these two iconic characters have already been depicted by other actors on the small screen but these were the two I could think of suiting MR.

Well as Barbs mentioned that Mishal has expressed that he did not like historical or mytho shows so I doubt whether we can ever see him portray these kind of characters

Another role which is somewhat cliched and I'm sure is the basis of many a male lead so far be it the small or big screen is the character of Darcy from P&P...nevertheless I would think Mishal would be deliciously delightful as the arrogant but enigmatic Darcy like character.

Hi Sudha...Good topic...I dunno abt mytho as im not much into it...definately wud want him to play a historical.character...He has got tat aura and style to pass as prince or king!!His personality,good command on voice and sharp looks can very well make him stand out as Royal Stature!I mean it...I jus wish to see him riding a horse...☺️

As Mag suggested...I too love n fond was PRCs folktales...n due to it followed Rajats potrayal of him on tv...Now I think of it...how I wish MR was casted as the adult one..then I would have died long long bac😆 but not adultrated...🤣sorry badjoke!

oh god.. Even i am a big admirer of Rajat.. If instead of anas, mishal had portrayed the adult prithvi after rajat then I too would have died long back.. 🤣 .. Yes prc had a romantic love story... If mishal comes as a romantic royal maharaja then he may look good... I am just not fond of their heavy make ups.. but you see these days the kings and prince wear nothing except a benarasi type shawl wrapped around their naked bodies😆😆 i remember that shambhu's puja scene.. Viplav with a shawl, transparent dhoti and red tilak😆

Mishal riding on a rose.. That would be a blissful site for our eyes, i must admit

honestly somehow his character goes to some mythical figure. it more suitable role as Viplav or as a role played by Salman Khan. I think he played beautifully Sultana. That is my opinion. Somehow I can not see as Krishna or a mythical or historical character

Why couldn't I imagine Mishal as historical hero! Well. I don't know much about Indian methology or history. but I'd love to see Mishal doing a fantasy show. A love story set in old age when ppl were pure ..and have to struggle and fight by swards .

Had to ponder for a bit to see who I'd want Mish to enact in a historical role. I'm not all too familiar with Indian mythology, so I wouldn't know who to pick as a character. I think Prithvi Raj Chauhan would've been an amazing role for him because the character also had a very sweet love story. 😉 Too bad the show's already been made. I can't visualize Mishal as any of the Mughal emperors either. 🤓 I think I'd want to see Mishal play a desi Sherlock Homes. Bajirao could be his Watson! 🤣
