Whew, been a while since I've visited the forum and shared my thoughts. Quite a lot of episodes had passed by and interesting developments in all. One thing is for sure with the passing of the milestone of 50 Episodes. ERSK brushes up on the "traditional family values" and doesn't offer modern alternatives which I hoped would be the case. Nonetheless, the cheesy love story is refreshing in face of majority of other shows airing.
The favorite episode besides the first episode and the episode where Sanchi and Aryan snuck out, has been the episode where Viren helps Sanchi escape the guests to go to the concert. Sanchi and Aryan are relatively young and fresh graduates who have just gotten the taste of independence and carefree life after there studies and before starting formal work. More scenes involving there interests in sports and there interaction with there friends would be inviting.
Couple of things though from EP 63 that I noticed have really stood out for me.
We are at crossroads of a new beginning. The Girl and Boy have met, they have taken instant liking after bing repulsed by each other and faced temporary separation that reminds them that they have fallen in love with each other and thus they decide to get married. Now the real Saajhedari begins.
- The episode start with Sethiyas taking on the high road and being morally upright with there values and there behavior is a stark point to note. The difficulties and tangled mess of lies and societal expectation between Sethiyas and Mittals aren't going to be easily solved, especially with Sethiyas still unable to churn out a good profit from there business. The Sethiyas willing to accept Sanchi allows them a leverage in eyes of society for being big enough to overlook the insult which supposedly the groom's side shouldn't have to go through. After all, it is not the loan that people will now talk about, it is that the Sethiyas did not take the baarat back despite the groom unwilling to go ahead with a marriage that had faults in foundation. [not something I endorse. Being right shouldn't be praised but should be an obligation.]
- It all the more clear that Mittals have given there most prized asset to the Sethiyas and the acceptance of that asset to the status of not just the bahu but of a daughter allows Sethoyas to elevate there financial position from ground up and have a fresh start rather then placing building blocks on the old set-up. Weather Saanchi would be physically present in the office later on or she wuld be the one pushing Aryan with ideas is yet to be decided I believe.
- Honor and respect hold more credibility over happiness in Sethiya household and that is why Neelima was reminded of her mistake for judging Saanchi whereas Mittals prioritize happiness and satisfaction over anything else. The only reason Viren allowed the marriage to go through was because he knew that Saanchi had taken measures to only allow no one other then Aryan for herself.
- Saanchi is an integral part of Aryan's life now. The scene at the bed, where her dupatta sticks to the edge defines how despite being uncomfortable for the position she's been placed in, she would not be able to walk away because her inclination towards Aryan will keep her tied down.
- The truth is yet to come out about the revelation of the loan. Sethiyas and half of there relatives assume it is Viren who had let the detail out whereas it has been Chandra. Chandra needs power and control but every time she asserts that, she brings chaos along with her. Her need to be smothering-hen won't put her in the best perspective in near future as things rough up and Viren and Kusum side on with Sethiyas instead of her.
- Aryan and Saanchi walk awy after there fight to opposite sides of thee positions. Saanchi being closer to the side of the door reflects her having a higher hand in the marriage. Despite what Aryan wants and feels for, she would ultimately be able to get through with her words to him and settle the messes he wouldn't find a way to get out of. Sanchi and Aryan having matching tempers but both are quite reasonble so how the equation further forms will be interesting to watch.
- The morning after with Priyanka knocking and Aryan knowing that it is his bhahi and later on Saanchi inviting Priyanka in reflects on Priyanka being a mediator to Aryan and Saanchi along with Sushant in troubling times where they both would be thick-headed but besides reasoning, they both will force the two to reconcile on there own and understand each other instead of just assuming that partnership in marriage is blissful.
- The end scene where Aryan comes in from behind the ladies reflected on beginning of Aryan's journey towards marking his rightful place Ayodah/Sethiya household.
>> A lot of loops have been opened in the past 50 episodes and none closed. I am excited to see when would Patnis return, the clash of Phopa ji between Aryan and Bua ji along with her falling in his eyes along with Neelima's harsh words towards her; the struggle of financial stability and how the opening of new doors in Aryan and Saanchi's life bringing a change in equation of themselves or there families.
