why do we always need Dev to stand up for Sona? Isn't she capable of answering back to GKB or anybody else for that matter when she feels insulted?.Yesterday the scene was totally different. GKB ki sona to bichoo kehna and Ranveer ka sona ko bewakoof kehna are 2 different things all together.let me first clarify i am not saying GKB was right in calling Sona a bichoo. but given her uneducated background, her nature to try and dominate in Ishwari nivas and most importantly her baseless hatred towards Sona, i personally don't feel her saying anything to Sona will have any affect on either DEV or SONA. They don't even acknowledge her presence!!!!!!!!!!.but Ranveer is the damaad of the house, woh ek sulje huhe insaan hain. seriously calling someone's wife as a bewakoof just because she tried to amend something in her own way is NOT justified in any way. Ranveer is educated, he is far more rational and superior in every aspect as compared to GKB . him calling sona names is a strict NO NO and hence Dev flaring up at him was justified.Even Ishwari's words, i dont see the need to feel offended, it was rather her dejection that Sona is interfering without even knowing the depth of the issue.I remember one story here, a king once held a competition to select his minister . 3 lads stood out, then the out going minister was asked to make the final choice. he took the 3 to a forest and showed them a set of trees and said who ever axed the max no of trees before the next 2 hrs will be his successor. the first one took his axe and started axing the trees, the second axed one tree and then due to fatigue came back and rested for a while and resumed again. The third took one look at his axe and realised that the sharpness of the blade was not upto mark, he spent his first 1 1/2 hrs sharpening his axe. Everyone watching the 3 thought him to be an idiot. once done sharpening, he starting axing the trees, and lo and behold the trees fell at the first strike. Neither did he have2 to physically exert himself nor take the emotional stress of thinking abt the outcome. Indeed he did emerge as the winner.Sona right now reminds me of the 1st and the second lad. initially she gave space to Neha thinking she will resolve it on her own. the minute her HM got cancelled, she is like lad 2, she needs to spurge into action. But what she needs to become is lad 3. find the cause that shapes up Neha and Ranveer to take their respective stance and then strike. both are not wrong in their own way.Neha craves for attention, she wants to be top priority for the most important person in her life. While growing up, she lacked this attention from her mom. she expected it from her brother, but she didn't get any. no doubt both Dev and Ranveer loves Neha in their own way , but she is not the "MOST IMPORTANT" person in both their lives. the financial issues are just her way of measuring things.Ranveer is a no nonsense guy, he is like what you see is what you get. He too does not understand the deep scars of Neha and he is equating her demands with his self respect. there is nothing wrong in being happy with what ever you have, but that doesn't mean you to need to curb someone who dreams big. Neha is not asking him to compromise and accept everything from her brother. Rather she is asking him to dream BIG. there is no harm in trying and failing rather than being obstinate to trying itself.Ishwari is right when she said Sona is not a part of the past that has shaped the Dixits, she needs to recall Dev's words not everything is a data transfer that can be done in 60 seconds.Your intentions may be right ,but they are of no use if the other person does not value them.Just like the scenario where Dev created her matrimonial profile, his intention was right. he messed up her alliance and he took it upon himself to rectify his mistake, but was sona comfortable with it? did she not say " APNE INTENSIONS KA ACCHAAR DALO" same applies here. Neha and ranveer are not comfortable with Sona's interference in her personal life, she needs to respect it and stay away.Being a family member does not grant you every right to poke into every matter. At the end of the day, every one is an individual and they have their own personal space and preference.personally for me the most important aspect of the entire scene was how Dev even after being flared up said that Ranveer can never understand the intentions of Sona. it clearly shows how much he values and trusts Sona. Even after hearing all kinds of nonsense downstairs, the min he entered the room, he did NOT allow sona to justify.we never need to JUSTIFY our actions to the person who values/trusts us. Justification is needed only where there is mistrust.
