So what is your opinion on the younger generation of actors belonging to the two genders?? Do we have better female actors or male actors in this generation??

I personally feel that the actresses are killing it...overshadowing their male leads regularly irrespective of the length of their role. Also if you check out the National Awards, female Bwood actors seem to dominate.

Barring Ranbir and Ranveer no one is at par with the female brigade in acting
These ladies do not play safe..they are hungry for good work..willing to take risk even when they are at peak..be it deepika,kangy or PC
Anu is working on second home production and Ranbirs JJ has been delayed for years are proof enough of the seriousness

I am going with male actors...Ranbir, Ranveer, Varun, Shahid...are all zabardast actors...

females mein I see only Priyanka and Alia...is Kareena below 35..then her too...rest like Rani, Vidya...they all are above 35.

Not just them...look at Aaloo and Pari too...then there are Taapsee, Nimrit Kaur, Radhika Apte, Kalki and many others...such immense talent👏

The male actors barring a few are sorely lacking as actors.

It's always easier for the actresses when they are young. Because a major criterion for female actors is age. For the male actors, age isn't a criterion.

So the older male actors will always get good roles, good directors and bigger films. Younger female actors will still be paired opposite both older and younger male actors, so they get the benefit of doing better than the male actors. As they age, the female actors run out of good roles/films and the male actors' only get better films/roles.

Voted for Female actors. DP, PC, Anu, Pari, Tapsee even Aloo too. All of them are trying to do better than each other, and better than their male counterparts.

I would give Anu more points than Sallu in Sultan. Her Haryanvi was spot on whereas Sallu's derailed quite lot of times.

So it's Females for sure.

Females have mostly become smarter. They want central or equal part of the narration. It's not like that dreaded phase where they were reduced to playing second fiddle and they took to it.

Have shorter shelf-life and hence they want to take many risks to prolong their careers. They cannot play the same type of role again and again or they get called out for it while their Male counterparts get the leeway coz lambi race ke ghode. While acing one template is great for a male actor , a female actor cannot do it.She would stop getting roles. Easily replacable. Industralized sexism .

Females have to act well and try to sell 1-2 movies in 2 years on their own merit to expand and prolong. It's a necessity for survival now.

First of all - what is the definition of "young" here?

If Shahid Kapoor can be included - then why not Kareena who is only 4 months elder.

For me it's the girls all the way: Kareena / Priyanka / Kangana / Anushka / Deepika / Parineeti / Alia / Radhika / Swara / Kalki / Huma / Sonakshi / Richa

The guys are not far behind. We have the EXCELLENT Ranbir / Ranveer / Shahid.

Rajkumar Rao is great. Varun + Arjun + Ayushman are good. Sushant / Sidharth + Aditya are growing too.
