Geet opened her wardrobe to get ready for her college. She got ready and came down for breakfast but what surprised her most is no one is there on the dining table and everyone is busy in doing some or the other work. When rano saw geet she came towards her, cupped her face and kissed her forehead. "Maa, what is happening? Any relatives are coming to our house?" asked geet. Rano smiled and told "No geet, aaj tumko dekhne ke liye ladke wale aarahe hai. Aaj tu college nahi jayegi, tu apne kamre mein aaram karo"
Geet is utterly shocked to listen this piece of information. "Maa, what are you saying? You just showed me his (geet st: kamina) photo yesterday and today they are coming" asked geet. "Geet don't panic dear they are just coming to see you. Hum thodi na abi shaadi kar lete hain" told rano making her understand. Geet silently left to her room and stood near the window looking outside. She is in a fix what to do? She didn't complete her studies still and marriage, responsibility she is not ready for all this. She can't dis-respect her bauji too. He doesn't do anything against her wish. If geet doesn't like the boy then he will straight away refuse for this alliance.
It's not that geet doubts her father's selection but she has some dreams to be fulfilled and she will not compromise in that matter. She want to complete her medicine (she is studying 4th year now) and complete her MD. She won't compromise her studies no matter what. At the same time she is nervous too. With lot of confusion she lied down on the bed thinking of what will happen and what turn will her life takes. Don't know when she slept, because of deep thinking she fell asleep.
Geet want to slap herself for thinking about her man so stupidly before meeting him. she is feeling something in her stomach with the thought of meeting him today. After their engagement they didn't get a chance to meet each other as he went to Singapore for some project and had to stay back there for more than 2 weeks. Though geet was sad with the news as she thought it would be better as they come to about each other before marriage. But all her thoughts were crashed with his business trip and as usual she cursed his trip for the upteempth time but what is the use, nothing.
She got ready in a pair of jeans and top, she kept herself simple and a pair of ear rings, applied lip gloss and finally kohl. He is coming to take her with him for a date. He didn't even call her after coming to India, it was just a message he left for her about this date. And she told the same to her mom. More than geet, her mom was so excited that for the first time her son-in-law is coming to their house. So she decided to make his favourite chocolate cake, as they came to know about his favourite cake when his mom arranged both their favourite cakes on their engagement.
When geet got ready and came down he saw her dad and mom in the hall. Geet smiled at her bauji and wished him. "Hii bauji, aaj aap itne jaldi kaise aye?" asked geet. "Hello beta, pata chala ki mere damaadji aarahe hain. Tho ghar mein hona hi chahiye na" told mohinder. Geet rolled her eyes as from morning they are doing his chanting, damaadji damaadji. Geet in cute anger told "You never came early for me" Mohinder laughed out loud but some ones statement made her happy and proud. "Oh yes, he never came early for you but the matter is he didn't go to office from last one week as you are suffering with high fever" "Ohh, so sad" giggled geet seeing his angry face, but soon his anger turned into a smirk which wiped off geet's smile.
"I think you are hiding something from me" asked geet. He laughed out loud and started running. Geet too chased him, they were climbing sofa, chair, even dining table too. "Oyyy juk jaa warna thik nahi hoga" warned geet. He laughed out loud but geet was fast and caught him arms. "Tell me what you did?" asked geet. He nodded in a no. "Jyada natak mat kar" warned geet but geet thought something and ran outside. She is utterly shocked to see the condition of it. "Raaajjj" shouted geet on top of her lungs. "You kutta, kamina, nalayak how dare you touch it without my permission. I will kill you" geet ran inside and started chasing him again.
"Geet, ruko bechare ne kya kiya" asked rano as raj hid behind her. "Maa, I am warning you just move from here" shouted geet, she is in full rage and her fit for nothing twin used her car. No no not car her jaanu, her most favorite car which mohinder gifted for her birthday and how dare he touch it, no no used it that too without her permission. "You idiot, stupid tere bike pe nai jaa sakte the. Tumne mera jaanu ko use kiya, you better come out or else I will kick you now" warned geet again climbing on the couch trying to catch raj.
"Hii jeeju" wished raj looking at the entrance, geet turned back to look who is it? Her eyes widened in shock and immediately climbed down the sofa embarrassed. Raj tried to muffle his laugh seeing her flushed face, where as her prince charming is in shock seeing her wild avatar and fighting for car is amused him the more. So in future he definitely has to be careful.
Geet is totally a gone case now, she didn't dare to look at him while her prince charming is waiting for her one glimpse. Mohinder is talking with him about his business and his recent trip, whereas geet went inside to bring coffee for everyone. She served everyone, when she went near him her hands are shivering and she didn't dare to look at him as she was too much conscious as he saw her fighting with his brother that too climbing on the sofa and shouting on top of her lungs. When she went near raj to serve coffee she glared at him angrily as he was the sole reason of what all happened. Raj just kept quiet knowing how shy her sister is and he didn't dare to tease further.
After formal talking with everyone he took geet with him and escorted her to his car while he himself settled in the driver seat. She never felt this much shy talking with anyone. Going alone with him is making her nervous as well as happy. Happy that finally getting a chance to talk with him and nervous as she don't know what he might be thinking about her. She decided to keep all her thoughts aside and just relax but her heart is not listening to her and it is beating like a super-fast express.
Seeing her silent and the shy smile on her face he thought she won't be starting the conversation, he decided he himself with start the conversation but he is thinking what to talk or at least how to start the conversation. He won't come under talkative people and he was always answer to the question types. This is all very new to him and all thanks to his younger bro as he compelled him to take his would-be sister-in-law for a date. "What is happening to me? Why I am not able to talk anything?" he thought and concentrated on the road. "Why he is not talking anything? Is he expecting me to talk?" thought geet. "Ufff geet stop worrying, he is not some stranger now. You both are engaged and he is your life partner" encouraged geet herself.
It's very new to both of them, if it was a business meeting or something he would have given a presentation by now and if it was her friend or brother or her parents she would have eaten their head with her silly talks and stupid fighting's. Not able to bear the silence anymore both decided to break the silence. And by that time they reached the venue, he stopped the car and smiled at geet. Not to forget geet is totally fida over his smile. He, like a perfect gentleman opened the car door and asked her to come down through his eyes.
Geet got down and both of them went inside the restaurant. She saw no one in the restaurant and got confused, what does she know that he likes privacy and for his fianc can't he book the hotel for a day. They both settled down and guess geet didn't find a waiter too in the restaurant. Seeing her confused face he cleared and for the first time he talked breaking their silence and awkwardness too. "I don't want any disturbance so I have booked the hotel just for us" he told. Though geet is shocked but somewhere she is liking everything, his each and every small gesture and she didn't speak anything still he understood what is in her mind. A small smile formed on her pink cheeks making him smile too.
"Would you like to have any drinks?" he asked. "Noo" told geet finally looking at him. Actually she is nervous and confused what to call him, by his name or something called "JI" and basically calling him "JI" doesn't suit neither of them so she decided to call by his name.
