First of all, Meenakshi...welcome to the Forums. I wish u free, open and engaging discussion about the show. Mifra14 welcome back!! I hardly see u around. Hi Gossip Queen...how r u?? we have not interacted before.😊
I would not like to comment on the substance of what each of the above member has stated, about the characters, story etc. My point is something else. I understand that even though it is fiction, there are people who get affected by it. I can clearly see, that this is Meenakshi's 1st post and she has just joined...this indicates that she has joined the forum to express herself about some aspects of this show that is perplexing her or that she is not comfortable about. I think each individual should have the basic right to express what he or she feels...good, bad, funny, sarcastic, anything (as long as it is not crossing lines of decency)...some viewers can take everything with a pinch of salt (and understandably so, after all it is fiction) some take it seriously, I believe it is just fair enough to let people speak. The rest of us may agree, disagree, add to that view etc. Just because the member is bringing forth what he/she dislikes doesn't mean that the person is negative nor is it fair enough to suggest them to stop watching the show...NO. For instance, I don't agree with several things written in the post...but it is a viewpoint, so I'd like to read and appreciate that.
As far as I am concerned, let me tell u, if I find any episode that irritates me...I don't watch the show for a couple of episodes till things are normalized but there r viewers who r attached to the show deeply...not for reasons of a particular actor or actress...but for the plain reason that they loved the very concept of the show...the values that it stood for...the integrity that it boasted of, when it began...so they should be allowed to vent their emotions.
But at the same time, I would like to stress that these serials are basically money-making enterprises, don't expect creativity, morals, realism etc. Writers r doing their job & they are asked to prolong the series...so, they r at it. They just have business and profit in their minds. So, no point getting emotional...your emotions wud not really be valued!! Apologies for the long reply guys!! Take Care😊
