Next day, NT goes to Dev.
NT: Did you call me?
Dev: Yes, I called you. I want to ask you whether you trust me.
NT: Yes, I do but I don't trust Nandini. For that matter, I don't trust any woman who is close to you. No one has the right over you except me. I love you & I don't want to lose you.
Dev: It won't make any difference to me if any other woman falls for me. I have the feelings only for you. I cannot tolerate when you disturb me in my work. I do spend time with you in my outhouse. What else you want?
NT: When I ask you something you avoid me.
Dev: I do clear your doubts at home. How can you be so selfish & posessive?
NT: That is the thing which I don't like. You have to choose among both of us. Either Nandini or me.
Dev is shocked but said, "Fine, there can be no relationship without trust. I don't think we can continue with this relationship at this rate."
Dev & NT break up.
Lavanya starts thinking about NK. Manorama comes in.
Manorama: More than Arnav, it seems that you are now closer to NK.
Lavanya: Yes, that is true as NK has spent more time with me. Arnav has cut with Sheetal but he is more close to Khushi. Love is a special kind of friendship. Arnav cannot express his love but I know that he loves her a lot.
Manorama: NK is a nice guy too. You need to confess your feelings to him.
Lavanya: Yes, I will but I'm waiting for an opportunity.
Sheetal decides to create problems for Arnav. She goes and gives an anononymus letter stating, "Arnav has stolen money from your wallet to buy a necklace for a girl and to cover it up, he won the money through gambling and replaced that money."
Brij sees that letter and decides to take Arnav to task.
Arnav reaches home. Brij is fuming with anger.
Brij: Arnav, have you taken the money from my wallet?
Arnav is dumbstruck.
Ragini: Even if he has taken, he has put it back. He needed money that is why he might have taken it.
Brij: I know for what he wanted it. He wants money for loafing but my brother cannot be a loafer.
He comes and beats up Arnav with his belt. Ragini shields him and stops him.
Brij: I am leaving him now but he won't get any pocket money from now onwards. If anyone tries to help him, I am the worst person.
Bajaj and Prerna learn about the theft.
Bajaj: I agree with Brij. He won't get pocket money. If at all he wants money, he has to work in my office after his exams.
Arnav stood up: I am not interested in this boring work wherein everyone dictates terms. I would prefer to work outside and fend for myself.
Brij: You scroundrel, I will kill you. He takes the whiphand and starts whipping him.
Prerna and Ragini stops him: Do you know what are you doing? Are you going to kill him or what?
Brij: Yes, he does not deserve to be my brother. There is no place for a thief in my house or in my heart.
Arnav: Sorry bro, this time, your beating cannot change my mind. I too don't wish to stay in a place where I cannot live my life and decide about my career.
Bajaj: What you wish to do?
Arnav: You know that very well dad. But if you want to hear it from my mouth, I want to make my career in singing and dancing. I'm leaving the house.
He goes to his room and packs his bags.
Ragini & Prerna: Please don't go Arnav. We will sort out everything and see that you get what you want.
Arnav: They won't agree. I'm leaving this place as it is not a house. It is a central jail.
Bajaj: Let him go. He does not know the world and how difficult it is to get money. He will come back after experiencing the difficulties in the outside world. He will learn it in a hard way.
Arnav leaves the house. NK comes in and is shocked to learn that Arnav has left the house. Prerna is profusely crying as Bajaj refuses to budge. Brij refuses to listen to Ragini. He said, "If you intend to help Arnav, you are free to leave but you will have no right over our children."
NK: Where is Arnav bro?
Dimpu: Dad has beaten him a lot & threw him out of the house.
Meenu misses Arnav as he was playing with her often.
Both of them cry.
NK: Don't cry. I will bring him back at any cost.
He goes out in search of Arnav who is in search of a job. He thinks of every possible places where he might have gone. NK goes near Khushi's place but does not find him. He then goes to Bajaj's office & sees an anonymous letter that revealed about his theft. However, NK recognizes that it isSheetal's handwritting. In a fit of rage, he goes to Sheetal's house to beat her. However her mother asked,"Who are you?"
NK: Sheetal knows me very well. I'm her ex-boyfriend's brother. She asked for a diamond necklace from Arnav & he went out of the way to get it for her.
Sheetal's mother is shocked: What do you mean? She does not have any boyfriend.
NK opens the letter & said, "This is her handwriting. She has been creating problems for my brother. I was with them in bar & we were in police custody with her. I hope your neighbours would have told that to you. "
Sheetal's mom said, "No one has told me anything about it. Anyway I will speak to her."
NK: Even if you ask her, she will manipulate the entire thing. It is your job to find out for yourself since you've taken the responsibility. I don't come between both of you but if anything happens to my brother, I am not going to spare her.
He gives her the copy of her letter & goes to La's house.
La: NK, how come you are here at this time?
NK: Arnav has left the house & is missing. Is there by any chance he is here?
La: No, he is not here either.
Khushi & La are worried about Arnav.
Geet learns that Arnav is missing.
Geet: Hey devi maiyya, please help us to find Arnav.
NK tries Dev's number. The phone rings. Dev picks up the call.
NK: Arnav bro is missing. Is there by any chance that he is with you?
Dev: Yes, he is with me. I saw him in the park. He was wounded. He is in my outhouse.
Geet, Khushi, Lavanya & NK go to that outhouse & find Arnav.
Dev: I saw him lying in the garden. He was drunk & wounded. I took him to my place. He told me everything that happened. He does not want to stay in that house anymore. He is fine here & is very happy too. I have also arranged a job for him. He will work there after his exams are over till bro is back.
Arnav & NK hug each other.
NK: Come back bro. Mom is crying. No one in the house is having their food.
Arnav: I wanted to leave this house long back but have stayed there only for her. Dad & Big B want me to join their office & do the boring work. I don't want to stay in a place where human being is not treated as a human being.
Khushi gets teary eyed after learning about Arnav's condition. La wipes her tears & said, "If you break down who will take care of Arnav? He needs you more than anyone else as you are close to his heart. You are his strength. You need to be strong for him as well as yourself.
Khushi: You are right La.
NK: In a way you are right. Even I won't stay there.
Arnav:What about Mom, Dimpu & Meenu? If you too leave then who will take care of them?
NK: It will be better if you come.
Arnav: Tell mom that I'm in Dev's place. Here is the letter that I wrote to her. Please give this to her.
NK: Sure, I will do that. At least that will give her relief. Keep in touch.
Khushi: It is all Sheetal's work. Don't think that you are alone. I'm always there for you.
Arnav & Khushi tightly hug each other emotionally.
Khushi decides to rebuild Arnav & teach a lesson to Sheetal. NK, Dev, Geet & La support her.
NK goes back tells Prerna, "Nothing to worry. Nannav Bro is safe. He is staying with Dev. He wrote this letter to you"
Prerna reads his letter. It is written, "Dear Mom, I know that you are upset with me for taking money from Brij's wallet without asking anyone. Though you have stopped him from beating me & persuaded me to stay back, I accept my mistake. I shouldn't have done that. Please forgive me for that if it is possible. However, I cannot live in the house where I am not allowed to decide about my life. My views are not being respected in that house. I know that the outside world is cruel but I can manage. Maan, Dev, La & Khushi are with me besides you & NK. Please don't stop having your food because of me. I will keep in touch with you & keep you updated. I will come back once I achieve my goal. Bye mom. Your Arnav."
Prerna is relieved to know that Arnav is in safe hands.
Bajaj: Why did you search for him?
NK: Because he is close to my heart. I am with him. Come what may.
Brij: Do you even know what he did?
NK: I know everything. What proof you have that he took the money from your wallet? You have counted the money & found that it was intact right? If he had stolen it, you would have fallen short of money. How could you blindly believe that letter? I am not going to leave Arnav at any cost. Even if you kick me out of the house, I don't care. Bro is right. This is not a house. This is a jail.
NK too packs up his bags.
Prerna: Wait. Even I'm joining you. One son has left. I don't want to lose another one.
Brij: Mom, even if he goes, I'm there. Why should you leave this house for these useless guys? NK is aware of it but has never bothered to tell me. Yeh sab ke sab mile hue hain.
Prerna: Fine, both made a mistake but that does not mean that you should beat him so cruelly & throw him out. You have always been treating them badly for no rhyme or reason. Just because you hate music, you expect the same from them.
Brij: But you know the reason behind it.
Prerna: Yes I know the reason, but it is not a valid reason for them to give up music. There are ups & downs in every field and suicide is not the answer. Neither Arnav nor NK are responsible for it. Come NK, lets go.
Bajaj: Perena, are you going away leaving me?
Prerna: If Arnav is not there, even NK won't stay here. One son has left & I could not stop him. I don't want to lose another son.
Ragini too joins them.
Brij: I won't allow you to take the children.
Dimpu & Meenu:Sorry dad. Even we are leaving.
Bajaj breaks down as the house is breaking into pieces. He said, "No one is going anywhere. I will bring Arnav back."
Brij is dismayed: If you want to bring him you can but he will do what we want him to do.
Bajaj: We will see that later. I cannot let the house break because of one person.
He goes to Dev's place.
Arnav: Dad.
Bajaj:I've come to take you. Whatever is between us, we will sort it out.
Arnav: I will come back but will do so once I reach my goal.
Bajaj: This is not the place to discuss about these things.
Arnav: If we talk about it at home, Brij will whip me again for expressing my likes & dislikes. Because of one mistake of ours, you people sold our bikes. I cannot stay in this house because it is not a home. I will be back once I achieve something. That is my promise.
Bajaj: Then I'm sorry. I've wasted your time.
Arnav: No dad. It was nice that you came here.
Bajaj leaves
Maan calls Dev & learns everything about what had happened with Arnav. He said, "You've done the right thing. He can stay here as long as he wants."
Maan calls Geet: How are your studies?
Geet: Fine. I want to ask you what is sample checking?
Maan: Sample checking is about picking up the items at random & determine the overall quality. This is done as it takes more tme to check each & everything.
Geet: When are you coming back? Arnav & NK needs a job very badly.
Maan: I know about it. I can tell the HR to appoint them but it will take some time for me to come back. I've an appointment with big clients. Once the deals are finalized, I will be back. I'm thinking of giving you the signatory authority to you, Dev & Adi in case I'm not there in the office. I will put that in legal papers after I come back. First, you guys focus on your exams. Dev has told me everything. If he needs anything, we will take care. Bye Geet.
Geet: Bye.
He then calls up Arnav & said, "I know everything that has happened with you. Don't worry about work & money now till your exams are over. You can join my company once I'm back. In case you need something, feel free to ask Dev or dadi."
Arnav: I don't know how to repay you.
Maan: You don't have to repay me. You guys lead a good life. That is enough for me. It is a good thing that you took the bold step against your Brij bro. I want you to be open & courageous in future. Once you join my company, your life will change completely. That is my guarantee. I know that you have a lot of questions in your mind but we will talk about when we meet again. Bye Arnav.
Arnav: Bye Sir.
Maan: You can call me by name. We are friends.
Arnav: Bye Maan.
Maan: That is better.
Both disconnect the call.
