Karan Johar has filed a copyright strike on Jaby koay's youtube channel, for posting analysis and reactions to his film Ae dil hai mushkil's teaser

1) they can file monetary compensation and hijack whatever earnings he makes from his trailer reactions and analysis

2) they can shut down his youtube channel FOREVER

Dharma productions has done the latter... they want to shut down his channel forever

Bullies him into taking down the video

3 strikes takes down a channel, he has already received one from Dharma Productions.

I don't think Karan handles the digital/social media wing of Dharma Productions. There are different departments and each one of them has different heads.

That said, Dharma was well within their right to issue a copyright strike against any channel that uses their copyrighted content without permission.

when they did post the trailer reaction before taking it down, they went ga ga over ash and anu...

I love his channel and it would be a shame if his channel is taken down just for posting a trailer reaction !!!

well in any case , he has decided to steer clear of any dharma production films to avoid further hassles..

Did the same thing happen to Bollyfools? They used to dhajiya udao almost all movie/trailers. 3 strikes miley hongey shayad. Issi liye 3 hafte pehle bandh kar diya...

Isn't that Bollyfools? Jaby doesn't watch Hindi movies, nor does he give movie reviews.
