Top 10 - 35 and under wannabe Super Stars

My list may differ from yours.

1> Ranveer Singh - Age 31 - The current leader of the pack.
Pro- Flexible, good relation with directors (have rescued few projects), easy on eyes, great presence on social media, good work ethics and strong PR.
Cons- OTT behavior, too accessible reducing his acting shelf life by quarter, sometime works on high risk movie projects.

Upcoming Projects/ Movies - Befikre, Gullyboy, Padmavati

2> Varun Dhawan - Age 29- Nipping at the heels
Pro- Great Dancer, good acting skills, chooses projects wisely, good presence on social media, strong support in industry (papa and bro) and darling of his movie's marketing department. In few years will give Akshay Kumar complex in "total no. of movies worked in a single year" department.
Cons- Govinda wannabe (wrong move even if Govinda is a legend), Braggart, Brash, does not allow his co-stars to get words out during promotion, practically hijacks promotion, one man PR / Marketing team who knows more about movie than producer, director, write, actors et al.

Upcoming Projects/Movie - Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Judwaa 2,Dabba Gul, few thousand more projects...

3> Sushant singh rajput - Age 30 - Stage/TV actor who dreams big.
Pro- Good choice of movies, Good acting skills, underplays instead of overplays his roles, has no negativity attached to him
Cons- When I made this list few days back he was not on the list despite having given few hits. It is easy to forget him. He has a very boring personality off screen that leaks on-screen. Not the best looking boy to put it politely.

Upcoming Projects/Movie - Raabta, Taakadum

4> Tiger shroff - Age 26 - Cute Baccha
Pro- Aunties want to look after him, girls want to tie rakhi. Dances like a dream and fights like a pro. He makes it hard to dislike him.
Con- Or to take him seriously. It will be ages before someone will give him character oriented movie. If Salman can make it to top without displaying 1 inch of acting skills (except in few movies) perhaps Tiger has chance in the industry. Though it does not hurt Tiger to enroll himself to nearest acting school- double fast.

Upcoming Projects/Movie - Munna Michael


5> Ranbir Kapoor- Age 34 - Early bloomer
Pro- Excellent actor, very easy on eyes, director's actor, comfortable co-star
Con- He is 34 and still struggling to get a break from wannabe status. Poor script sense. Needs to do cross genre,multiple movies, multi starrer movie and shrug off the failure and leave his elite Kapoor label. Also it will do him good to have some social media presence. Needs to push himself out of comfort zone.

Upcoming Projects/Movie - Jagga Jasoos, Dragon Trilogy


6> Shahid Kapoor - Age 35- Grand Daddy of the pack
Pro- No one can do certain (read psychotic) roles like he can , chocolate boy looks, great dancer
Cons- Has not found his groove, needs director with better movie business acumen. Toned down (arrogant) attitude will help him.

Upcoming Projects/ Movies - Rangoon, Rani Padmavati

7> Siddhart Malhotra- Age 31 - Neutral
Pro- Competent actor, so much easy on eyes, good script sense, has nice smile
Con- Can be overshadowed very easily by co-stars especially if they are dancing, few acting lessons won't hurt.

Upcoming Projects/Movie - Reloaded

8> Arjun Kapoor - Age 31- Back bencher
Pro- Fearless choice of movie, crosses genre like nobody's business, competent actor
Cons- Brash, arrogant, last bencher attitude which hurts his status.

Upcoming Projects/Movie - Half Girlfriend

9> Aditya Roy Kapur - Age 30 - Reluctant actor.
Pro- Always looks lost projecting vulnerability that suits his roles, cute smile and good looks. Multi starrer / certain kind of movies with better storyline suits him.
Cons- Mediocre acting skills, needs few dancing/fighting/acting lessons, need to improve on onscreen presence .

Upcoming Projects/Movie - Ok Jaanu , Dear Zindagi

10> Ayushmann Khurrana - Age 32 - Outsider
Pro- Good looks, good acting skills
Con- He is one step from moving into oblivion- thanks to his outsider status. Will have to give out clear cut big budget hit to survive. Bollywood has chewed out many such Ayushmann and spitted them out on to TV.

Upcoming Projects/Movie - Bareilly Ki Barfi, Meri Pyaari Bindu


There are few new comers waiting in the wings to push these people out of this list.

I wuldn't put Shahid in the wannabe list...good or bad ...his career is set on a path ...

Shahid doesn't belong in the list..he is an established star already compared to others here.

I wont put either RK or SK on the list. They have a decade of good work to speak for them.

Dont think Ranbir and Shahid can be put under this list
