I just watched her BNS interview with Anupama, and I got to say, haters will hate. I utterly disliked her false arrogance and self-pedestal, until I actually saw in the Anupama interview how fricking hard she works. For someone who shoots 15h a day, still manages to look good for launches, interviews and award shows at night, and flies down on weekends to India for her other commitments is someone who should put herself on a pedestal. She's hardworking as anything, and frankly, I would stand up and clap for her, and I hardly even like her on a personal front.

I'm sick and tired of the false modesty and fake impressions that come with the industry. People in HW have always appreciated confident women like Stone and JLaw and Beyonce and Streep. Women like Anushka and Priyanka are right to be proud of what they've achieved in and outside of an industry where, a couple of years ago, they weren't even thought to be 'good enough' to belong.

Edit: Just wanted to add that she knew the name of the person at the doors of the studios and said 'Good Morning' to every single person on her way. It didn't feel 'for the camera'. People genuinely seem to like her. A lot of Indians going abroad kind of forget imbibing the culture of the place. US is known for being over-friendly. I'm actually glad to see an actor learning the art of a place. Lot of respect to her for that alone.
