BARC Report Week 41:-bollywood article

BARC Report for week 41 (Saturday,8th October 2016 to Friday, 14th October 2016) is out and Naagin 2 team, take a bow! Like its predecessor, Naagin, season two has also emerged as a true winner. Not only has it beaten Brahmarakshas, which has been ruling the number one position since the past few weeks, it has also taken over long running shows like Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Two more things that came as shockers this week was one, Udaan made a whopping comeback and took the fourth position in urban areas and second, that The Kapil Sharma Show lost out to fiction shows this week. Here's a detailed report -

Top 5 shows (Urban + Rural)

Mouni Roy and Karanvir Bohra's Naagin 2 took the number one position. Rubina Dilaik and Vivian Dsena's show Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki stood close at second. Long running shows Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Kumkum Bhagya took the subsequent slots in the order. It was surprising to see how Naagin 2 washed out Krystle D'Souza's Brahmarakshas and The Kapil Sharma Show inspite of it being just a week old. People seem to be loving Mouni and Karanvir's jodi. Shakti, too, has been doing exceedingly well on the TRP charts. Clearly people are liking the ongoing track of Harman finding Soumya.

Naagin season 2 topped the list here too.Also Read: BARC Report Week 41: Naagin 2 ousts Brahmarakshas from the top position! The Mirzya episode of The Kapil Sharma Show clearly didn't work for the channel as the show is no where to be seen on the list. Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki secured second place here too. Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein took the third and the fifth positions. Udaan made a thunderous come back on BARC this week as it took the fourth position. Kamal Narayan's entry and Chakor and Suraj's love angle seems to be getting the viewers interested.
