Karan Johar might be known as an acclaimed Bollywood film maker today, but there was a time when KJo was also into acting. No, we are not talking about Karan's acting stint in DDLJ where looked like a nerd. It is but a TV show which used to air on Doordarshan back in 1989 where he was seen making his acting debut.
The show is called Indradhanush where Karan had played the role of Srikant. The show was about a couple of school friends who assemble a computer which becomes a host to an alien who is a Prince of another planet. The Prince then gifts them a Time Machine which helps them travel in future and in past. But it is not the plot which is the point of deliberation here. It is but the fact that Karan Johar starred in the series and looked like a complete geek; chewing his school tie, making weird expressions. Talk about over acting! The video is bound to make you break into a wide smile.
