Yes , I have seen lot of people watching repeats or reading the update. Most like me dont want to stop watching it but the negativity shown these days is so stressful its affecting our peace of mind. It kind of stays in the mind ...not like other serials ..this is affecting us...probably we got too involved /connected to this show..and has become a part of us...not able to relax after seeing the way Ishwari is behaving ...I feel bad for Dev also ...she is not allowing him to forget his past pain...want him to be rooted there along with her ...cant understand a mothers point of view to make a son suffer so much...any mom would want to heal her son's pain and help to move on and look forward...this lady is just the opposite...😡

@ Jyothi BS Tagore

But here we have one more factor. It's a Sony TV show. Except of TKSS, no show from Sony TV even reached 1 TRP. The reach is less compared to other channels and both the shows you are talking about were on Star Plus. Good shows on Star Plus definitely gain higher trps due to its reach. That's one more factor.

If you read my post the first reason I gave is Sony TV only. But despite that a Shaheer show which is decent and watchable should get atleast 1 as TRP.
The Kapil Sharma show tops with3.2 Kuch Rang should atleast get into tenth position. Not there. Why?

I always face the facts though they are harsh. I prefer to accept the fact.
First time a Shaheer show failed to get reasonable TRP.

Hi...I had not watched any TV show(soap) in the last 5 years...I had liked KRPKAB promos especially the proposal one...After watching that episode, I went online and watched all the episodes...I loved KRPKAB because it brought a smile every single day...I have not missed a single episode so far...but these days, I am finding it tough to watch it without getting sad...i cannot watch Sona getting insulted...She is treated very badly in that house... The last straw is Dev telling at Sona...the weekend does not seem long anymore...I still watch the old episodes(first dance, candle searching episode, day after proposal episode, gajra episode etc)
If this non consummation and daily conflicts continue, I might stop watching it on TV.

I understand. Many are feeling the same way.
I bother about TRPs because they determine the success of the show,
The promotion is good content is good,it has one of the top male stars of TV as hero. Still...

You are right...i still think it is better than all the other shows...let's see...i have a feeling the trps will improve if beyhadh gets a good trip and if KRPKAB writers focus more on Dev and Sonakshi than Ishwari..

Simple logic : 2 million views for proposal episode and gajra episode...so viewers like Dev Sonakshi scenes...bith these episodes dint have Ishwari melodrama...i hope the CVs notice this.. I am a loyal KRPKAB fan and I know I will never stop watching it...

Yes TRP is concerned with only Indian audience.
If people can make Kapil Sharma show no1 why can't they watch a decent show like Kuch Rang on Sony TV?

The TRP stays at 0.6 .
Behad got 0.8

So no hope left I feel. Kuch rang fails to captivate normal viewers who determine the TRPs
Week after week a glint of hope twinkled but gradually lost ts sheen.
Now only a miracle can increase the TRPs. Nothing else.
I guess the fate of a serial is pre ordained.no magic can change it ever.
Shaheer, better luck next time.

I too think this a lot of times. Having followed other shows TRP rise and fall closely, I came to some conclusions. I binge watched nearly 140 episodes in a span of week just post DevKiDeewangi track. After watching the show I was pretty shocked and disappointed with the viewership response of the show.
1. Being a Sony show. Sony had its league once upon a time. But it has farely changed now. People keep track of upcoming shows in other channel but Sony isn't in the frequency list of people. Here I'm talking about the section which gives out TV TRPs. Track of Sony shows are pretty much different from the other channels and its evident on facevalue of the show. Majority of TV audience don't sink in it.
2. Since we are talking about TRPs we have to take in the fact that KRP is widely popular online. Whereas on cable network it had a different story to tell. Why so? Digitisation. Its a very important point when we talk about TRP these days. KRP marks an audience, the section which likes light hearted show more. And with digital platform being so seamless people don't wish to take out a specific time out of their schedule to watch a show. And hence online views of the show are sky rocketing. Previously if you missed a show it was never so easily accessible. So people used to watch it on TV and thereby effecting TRPs. Internet is easily available on every hands now and hence people bifurcate their time accordingly. Previously. You miss an episode. You completely miss it. So the show isn't completely a failure in terms of TRPs and appealing people. It does. Only not the general section.
3. Lack of intimacy and YES Drama. Much to popular opinion these days KRP is still not a trendy Saas Bahu saga. Watch any other show and one can easily make out the difference. KRP is intelligent storytelling and its not in the face. Saas has her issues but she is not having constant plan monologues of putting or dramatic approach in shooting of scenes. You understand the issues when you look closely into the issue. Lack of out and out intimacy is a huge matter. By rulebook having a lovestory and lots of intimate scenes gives a huge exposure. Its a hit formula. This show has this mesmerising couple with excellent chemistry. But lack of scenes where its utilised. Specially in the first days of the show. DevAkshi scenes were shockingly very less for a lead couple. They didnt encash on this great product. For how long will people suck up to the platonic romance. Except people who like the show a lot. People will eventually give a pass. Platonic and realistic romance never works with TRP in the long run.
4. Subtlely. KRP is very subtle. Generally say TV TRP audience expect something different at the end of the day when they switch on the TV. Drama Masala some good out and out romance, haybechari women cutting through the struggles. Basically a respite from the daily chores and problems. And KRP doesn't fits that generic bill.
5. The initial promos are taken too much by heart here. They just state the outline of the show I feel. And its still very much around that.
6. Every show has its up and downs. And any show even Saath Nibhana Saathiyaa will have excellent first 6 months or 100 episodes. Same goes for KRP. Expecting it to give the same show till the end is foolishness and its not gonna happen. Makers have a track written initially which they work out for sometime after that TRP influence comes in and the improvisation, which rarely has done shows any good. Still IMO KRP manages to put up a pretty good job according to its level. If not like before. Its still a good one.
7. Prenup , infertility are all recurring tracks which will unfold again later I feel. So can't say they didn't meet up the expectations and were done half baked.
So all in all KRKAB is not a failure in terms of appeal IMO. It has its problems yet it fares above any saga on TV at present in overall quality. It does its job of entertaining a good section. Only it targets a particular taste of people and farely reaches it. Puts up a subtle show with a great cast.
