I though sympathy with lovers in impossible love stories ..can't digest this idea of consumation before marriage..maybe if they were engaged it will be easier to accept it. For me I can't watch such a thing in a tv show.
But in movies and novels I accept it more. although I don't respect ppl who do this. coz love is beyond sexual desires. love is a bond between souls. for this Heer Ranja, Laila Majnu still live in our hearts. such eternal love doesn't need to get solace in the arms of the beloved ones. it can give peace even by eyelock or a mere hand touching. I am such a helpless old fashioned romantic.

I think that Bollywood movies are often influenced by what's being shown in Hollywood. The problem is that there's a stark difference between Indian society and the West. Both regions have a different mindset and principles. One fraternity shouldn't have that kind of influence on another, especially when the audiences aren't necessarily the same. Love is an amalgamation of physical, emotional, and spiritual expression. It embodies many different facets, but in it's truest form it can be described as a feeling of warm personal attachment or tender affection for another person. 😊 I too identify as an old fashioned romantic, Awida! 🤗

You're right, Ami! 😃 His first and foremost priority in any situation was ensuring Dhani's comfort. He knew his limits and didn't cross them until they were finally married. 😊

principles we have a theme that is still in India and in the West as a taboo subject. I know that now young people living under some of its rules and I have a daughter and a son. both live life how they think it should. no one is not married or do not touch their privacy. I know it's wrong but maybe it is. They choose their own happiness and their partners, and I think they are now on the right track and that they have chosen for now good partners. saying all this for the simple reason that you see no difference between the west and east. all of us are thinking the same thing. and we are always on the side of his daughter. but when it comes to sin again, he wanted to marry a girl who had no experience. This is double-edged sword. on the one hand we keep daughters, and on the other a little justify sons. I think you understand what I mean. A man with an experience is machomen a woman with experience is what you already know. I think it's the same all over the world. Thus, the Danh. called various names, for the widow. then it is considered to have the experience. Suwarna same was with a man before marriage. I read somewhere that the girl and the guy if you have a relationship while minors have to get married, I'm talking about the laws of India, is that correct?

I think the problem was in the large audience and comments that followed due to the threads they were processed in this series. as I followed after titles on the Internet, there were still many people because of the way that is depicted status widow. Again I read somewhere that their status is much worse than is shown here. All in all they took a topic that is not very public. This is my opinion.

It makes me sad, Zaj! This show could've been impactful. You're right that the subject was bold, but it had the ability to bring changes had it been given a chance. 😔

series has been a lot of hopes and a lot of expectations. Every day was a lot of expectation for me what will happen now. It is one of the few series that made me leave all their obligations and that I must watch. all that was until he appeared Kamine. Then it was hard to watch Danh how slowly destroys. after the jump I once again had hope that all is not lost to this series has a story, although with another actress again attracted me to watch it. only objection stands remained unfinished things.

What an intriguing post Dazz!...provided food for thought and I had to think for sometime to try and put down my thoughts
Personally, consummation before marriage is not an idea I would support generally but this post reminded me of the movie 'Aradhana ' ...Did I balk at the scene where the protagonosts were shown to indulge in the act before they were married according to social traditions?True they did unite in the presence of God but the institution of marriage requires social sanction too so were they married truly in that sense?.. That scene though passionate was aesthetically shot and it did not fill me with derision for the characters. If I think practically I would call it a mistake on the part of the protagonists but I would not go as far as to say it was a sin as the intention behind that act was not impure! It may have been the lack of self control and practical sense- a giving in to the circumstances in a moment of weakness. So I don't know if I have the right to judge anything in real life without knowing the circumstances involved...But I would prefer individuals to wait prudently without giving in to the situations.
Having said this I believe that both Viplav and Dhani had enough of self control to not get engulfed any situation where society would have the opportunity to point fingers...Speciaaly Vipu as he loved Dhani too much to overstep his boundary in this matter.
I was really impressed with everyones's opinion on this engaging topic.😊

The whole point of this topic was to have a different kind of discussion, Mag. 😊 We have a lot of lighthearted fun on the forum, so I thought we'd try a serious discussion for a change. Loved reading your reply! 🤗 That's where I stand, Mag. I'm not the type of person to judge anyone for their actions, but I have a set of principles that I follow for my own self. It often is a moment weakness that leads to these kinds of situations in real life and there are always consequences to bear with after. An unwanted pregnancy would be a major ramification. I personally also feel that TV shows have cheapened consummation sequences as an absurd plot twist for TRPs. In comparison, filmmakers generally portray lovemaking scenes with sensitivity and aesthetics. I recently watched Aligarh which is a whole different topic for discussion, but I was amazed at the aesthetics of the director and I was in awe of Manoj Bajpai. It must've taken a lot of guts to do the scenes he did in that movie.
Viplav would've never pushed Dhani out of her comfort zone. It took him such a long time to bring her out of her shell that I doubt he'd do anything to revert her back to her old self. It's usually women who set the limits in a relationship and men are expected to abide to those limits. On IKRS, Viplav spoke of his maryada more than Dhani! 😆
