Instead of the marriage...

Zaj unknowingly gave me inspiration for a topic today. What if ViDha hadn't gotten married that day and had consummated their relationship instead? Would you as a viewer have accepted that track? I personally feel that consummation is a sacred feeling and should be experienced when one is in a sacred relationship such as marriage. This is just my POV. To each their own, I'm not here to judge anyone. 😊 However, in a fictional space like IRKS I would've been curious to see how such a sequence would play out. VIplav was probably broken in that moment seeing not only his mother's true face, but also her betrayal and deceit. Could Dhani have gone to that point of assuring him of her love in a space of isolation away from the world and society? It's possible. Would it be completely out of Dhani's character? šŸ¤” Here's where it gets tricky. Dhani was a widow who had lost everything and was once again given the world in the form of Viplav. Her love for Viplav as her soulmate had grown more with each passing day. Do you all remember how she had lost that fire in her once she had confessed her feelings to VIplav? I think she was more tolerant of him and his actions because she was so deeply in love. She was much more aware of hurting his feelings than I think he was of hurting hers. She had a plethora of respect for him as a person, a man, and her love. In that same way, VIplav's emotions ran deep where Dhani was concerned. He literally loved her to the moon and back. 😊 Making love is an expression of pure love in itself. When love between a man and a woman is at it's ultimate culmination with no strings attached, it's a very natural expression. I think it might've been possible for Viplav and Dhani to come to that point of love in their relationship given the chaos and misunderstandings surrounding them. It would only be natural for them to find solace in one another. As a viewer, I would've been okay with such a sequence if it had been shown tastefully. 😊
I know I joke around quite a bit on this forum, but this topic is a bit more on the mature and serious side. I don't mean to sound imprudent at all. 😳 It's just some food for thought. 😊

hmhmhmmhmhmh. you gave me a reason to be a little deeper immerse myself in this problem. it's so difficult to talk about it because they did not show us whether Danh had intercourse with her first husband. It is perhaps for some unimportant thing for me was very important was to find out. because watching her behavior and her at first refusal Viplav best that I thought it was clean and did not have anything to do with her first husband. However later, when it came to this act between Viplav and Danh I thought she still had some experience. now here it is not a topic for this question. what would I definitely like the viewer condemned it that it came to making love before marriage. but on the other hand she is a widow means that free women, although today's values are not as they once were. I think that today's girls and young men freer when this stuff comes when men and women all want their women to be clean. Now maybe I overdid it a bit. Never have not been told whether Viplav was her real husband in the true sense of the word, or is it still was the first one. its vision of a widow and lives that should take the second part of this problem. Suwarna is done by me a very big mistake. Trip is used in the worst possible way and even tried to kill him. means she is the one who destroyed the reputation of a widow. but on the other hand all eyes were fixed on Danh and it was called all sorts of names and she did nothing. This topic is even deeper therefore we are all different and have different views on this matter. making love with someone you love and who loves you the most beautiful thing there is, but I do not allow myself to someone points a finger at you.

hi dazz. .I too don't like the consummation before marriage even if its in the show even if they are madly in love. ...according to the character of vip I believe he lived according to his conscience ...he was a righteous person...remember the saree changing scene...he had complete control over his feelings...he wasn't cheap...he was humane..he was a maryada guy even after engagementšŸ˜†...he always respected her feelings. ..even after leap he didn't force Dhani. ..if he had tried a bit in the hut after leap. .Dhani would have slipped a bit..I bet u...because she loved only him and the they were separate for a long time. ...he knows that pretty well...but still he didn't try anything like that. ...I respect vip a lot. ...now about Dhani she is no lesser to him. ..she belived him and was ready to face the entire world. ..her love for him overtook the fear that she had for the outside world ...but still she feared her conscience. ...she too would not have taken that step before marriage. ...ppl who fear their conscience never do these kind of things. ...it's easy to fool the outside world. ..not your conscience. ...again my two leads were grown with values. ..vip by his dadhi and Dhani by her strict motheršŸ˜†. .so it would not have been possible for both of them ...BTW for me their marriage at that stage was unnecessary...VIP should have openly challenged his mother and married dhani at least in front of her mother ... the D.ASHRAM members ... his sis..his dadhi...I find it to b an emotional and immatured action by VIP and dhani...again I tell u dazz they never consummated in hutšŸ˜† or in ashramšŸ˜†...it was done in vipus room during their first night at ANšŸ˜†...what a maryada😲🤣

Good post.

I though sympathy with lovers in impossible love stories ..can't digest this idea of consumation before marriage..maybe if they were engaged it will be easier to accept it. For me I can't watch such a thing in a tv show.
But in movies and novels I accept it more. although I don't respect ppl who do this. coz love is beyond sexual desires. love is a bond between souls. for this Heer Ranja, Laila Majnu still live in our hearts. such eternal love doesn't need to get solace in the arms of the beloved ones. it can give peace even by eyelock or a mere hand touching. I am such a helpless old fashioned romantic.

My thought process is same as Pearl82 and Awida's. This is one of the main reasons why I like the character sketch of Viplov. He always thought of Dhani's comfort first. Dhani was his priority.

Zaj, you brought up some great points in your comment! šŸ¤— You're right, the creatives did give us the impression that Dhani was untouched in the beginning. Didn't they also say that she had been married for four days before her husband had passed away? Everything changed once they started with Raja's track. All of a sudden, her marriage had lasted for almost a year instead of four days. I don't know how she would've been celibate that long. You're also right in that she exhibited signs of experience after their marriage. With that being said, Dhani was a staunch follower of the rules set for widows. A character as traditional as Dhani would've been expected to show some restraint. Suvarna was subjected to the same rules as Dhani, but there was a major difference between both women. Dhani didn't want love. She had accepted and adjusted herself to a life without colour, meaning, and purpose. Viplav was a very unexpected blessing in disguise. 😳 Suvarna desired a man in her life. She wanted to be someone's wife in a household of her own. I think it was much easier for her character to slip because her desires had been manipulated by a very disgusting man. She was promised the world only to lose her child and almost her own life. Even then, her own ideals didn't allow her to learn from her mistakes. She kept falling in Tripurari's trap over and over again until she finally lost her life to her own stupidity. Had Dhani crossed that line with Viplav, it would've been for no other reason but love. It wouldn't have been to escape the life of a widow.

Pearl, you couldn't have had a more precise description of our two lovely leads. šŸ¤— Agreed, both were raised extremely well and had an exceptional set of morals. 😊 You bring up an interesting point that it was Viplav who had kept the boundaries in their relationship more intact. I think once they were engaged, he'd only kid about kissing her in a more passionate manner. šŸ˜‰ He was playful, but trying his best to make his fiancee more comfortable with him. 😊 He didn't dare kiss her until she was finally his in the hut. Yes, it would've been easier for Dhani to slip because her love for Viplav was immortal and immense. She trusted him completely which put her in somewhat of a fragile state. Our Viplav Baba never took advantage of her fragile state and was an exceptional lover. You're right, Viplav should've fought for his right to marry Dhani in front of all of their loved ones. It was an impulsive move on Viplav's part. Dhani didn't like the idea of eloping, but she was scared of losing Viplav one more time given his mother's tactics. Marriage was the final resort to their issues. The whole scenario at the mandir could've unfolded in several different outcomes - eloping, consummation, rebellious wedding, separation, etc.
