He's obviously being practical. What do you expect him to do? He wants to ensure a smooth release for his movie, and is doing whatever is needed to get there. This is the best he can do to make the bullies understand.

This is exactly why I don't believe that speaking about any issue or as the word of the day goes "condemning" any issue makes any difference.

People can lie, they can fake it, they can say whatever they think will be the best received. Do they ever mean it? I don't know. No one will.

Do I feel like he saying this due to extreme pressure by various political parties? Yes. Karan might change his statement or his sentiment once the issues loses its steam. That's how our society works anyway. Outrage, ban, boycott and then forget about it. On loop.

Not being a certifier of desh bhakts,I could have erred here on what is representative of patriots.

Maybe you guys should print a pamphlet on the "do's and dont's of patriotism" for eg if the guy had been able-bodied rather than disabled,then toh isko jitni maar pade kam hai,hai na.
