Anika's unsureness and Shivay's face dropping - Page 2

He let himself get beat up by roadside gundas out of guilt and let her throw water on him and said sorry for like the first time EVER- and they showed some serious, genuine, real guilt on his part. This is a huge deal for a character with an ego as huge as Shivaay who thinks he's so much better than everyone else and is so into cleanliness and all that jazz...

I mean personally, it would be great if he did a lot more and he has so much to be thankful for so he better make her feeel like an absolute Queen (like she is) but we've gotten way more of real solid guilt and a much bigger apology that I've seen from any 4 Lions hero for much worse, so I was quite impressed...

And the best part? Anika still didn't forgive him 100%, she was still ranting to Sahil... loving how this is all being handled rn!

I think she will get the picture that when he is inebriated/drugged, he is quite a soft hearted chap and very mellow towards her, maybe even a little infatuated. But when he comes around, he actively pushes back all those revealed stuff behind the SSO aristocrasy speech.

She is going to be mighty confused and hurt quite a bit with this contradiction many times. She is still not worthy in his eyes to be a life partner or GF. Which makes me hope that someone else will also be interested in her for him to feel the pain of loss.

I keep remembering the RK and Deepika poolside scene from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani at the climax. She had patiently waited and pined and let him go quietly. But when he realized he loved her (Bunny and Naina of course 😉) He couldn't even bear the sight of a man serenading her with poetry !

I love mild jealousy in a love story and would love to see Shivaay's kanji ankhein alight!
