Inside Pics: Karan Johar's New Dharma Office Proves How Employers Spoil Their Employees!
Karan Johar has his platter full with movies, ads, events, reality shows, parties and what not. But amid his packed schedule too, the ace filmmaker took that time out to get a splendid office made for himself. KJo recently bought a new office for his Dharma productions, and we just cannot get over the place where his new employees would be working.
Karan shifted to this brand new place at Andheri in May this year. Earlier his office was in Khar. Spread in a sprawling area of 18,000 square feet, the office and it's interiors took a span of 7 months to get ready.
Designed by Simone Dubash Pandole , the new Dharma office is as swanky as it gets. With lavish corridors, sitting area, canteen, makeup room and reception, the office walls adorn posters of blockbusters churned out by Dharma productions.
Set up in 1976, the production house is the baby of Karan's father and renowned producer Yash Johar. The first film coming out from the stables of the house was Dostana in 1980. Agneepath, Kuch Kuch Hota hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum, My Name is Khan, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Student of the Year, Baar Baar Dekho, are some of the names among 35 movies which have been produced under the banner till now. The production house is set with it's next outing, Ae Dil hai Mushkil, directed by Karan. The film that stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan, will hit the screens on 28th October.
