Samjhana Vs Mehsoos karna

Dev says that "ye samjhaya nahi ja Sakta mehsoos karna padta hai." He obviously meant that what he and his family went through cant be explained in words and can only be felt.

But I noticed in the precap Sonakshi says the same words to him..."kyun ki kuch bate samjhaye nahi ja sakti mehsoos karni padti hain" What do you think she meant by repeating his own words. I think she is trying to tell him that he can't understand how she feels. Because she is experiencing the alienation from his family and specially him she is the one facing it and feeling it and not him.

What do you guys think?

Btw, I really didn't mind the episode today. Got to see some brilliant acting. Romance bhi aa jayega . Besides realistically life is not about romance all the time. I am hoping that all these fights will only strengthen their bond and love for each other.

Glad u agree and that's how it's in real life too. You are an outsider trying to fit into the new family and that's what she said in the previous episode too.

Yes, pyar ke rang becomes a different shade when you are a boyfriend turned into a husband. :))
Dev has to strike a balance between his family and Sona. Ishwari keeps saying that Purane rishto ki ehmiyat mat bhool jana naye rishte banane main... he has to step up and make the new relationship a part of the old ones. Which is difficult but he has to make everyone realize that she is a part of his life and not only his but their life and is here to stay forever. So her
opinion matters as much as theirs. I thinking in the upcoming episodes he'll be shown struggling with that.

Both Dev and Sonakshi had their reasoning, emotions and baggage behind that line which each other is not aware of.

There is so much depth in that line, and in what they intended to convey. It is not going to help them if Sona doesn't open up her fears and the depth of hurt each time she is treated as an outsider and it in not going to help them either if Dev doesn't take a stand on his family insulting her. She was already hurt and must have been the most hurt when he himself pushed her away and reverted the decision without even giving her a clue, showing her as an outsider too.

Another Break up is impending/Another round of insulting Sonakshi/Something very dramatic is coming soon - all in all some kind of major showdown in the show for both to realize that actual essence of that line.

Yes you are right I also foresee something really big and dramatic in the future. Hopefully it's not another separation track.
