The third season of Star Plus' Nach Baliye came to an end with a grand finale at Film City on Saturday.

MUMBAI: The third season of Star Plus' Nach Baliye came to an end with a grand finale at Film City on Saturday.

Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh beat Rakhi Sawant and Abhishek Awasthi.

Bollywood star Salman Khan announced the winners.

A shocked Rakhi and Abhishek walked out and refused to accept the runners-up trophy.

The reality show was hosted by Hussain and Tina, and judged by David Dhawan, Vaishnavi Merchant and Isha Koppikar

The stage is set. Rakhi-Abhishek and Aamir-Sanjeeda will battle it out tonight to take home the Nach Baliye trophy. While Rakhi has been visiting temples, Aamir and Sanjeeda have been rehearsing up a storm. Here's asking the couples about how they're handling all the activity.

How have you prepared yourself for tonight?
I am going everywhere and asking people to vote for me. I was even making paani puris and sandwiches and giving them to people in a mall yesterday. I have also planned for a havan at Siddhivinayak to pray to God for our victory.

What will you do with the 20 lakh prize money?
I haven't decided yet, but I will discuss with Abhishek and plan something out. Money is important but the feeling of winning is above everything.

How do you plan to celebrate your victory if you win?
I will definitely throw a party and invite all my well wishers. Without their support I don't think I would have been in the competition today.
One message you have for Aamir-Sanjeeda
All I can say is that we both have worked hard, and now its up to the audience to decide who's better. I wish the both of them good luck.

What according to you is your strongest point?
Our confidence. I don't think there has been any other jodi as confident and consistent as us. We also offered so much variety to the audience.

You should win Nach Baliye because…
We are good dancers and the audience has always stood by us right from the beginning.

What are your chances of winning?
I don't want to jinx it, but I have a strong feeling that I will win!

How have you prepared yourself for tonight?
I am just going to take it as it comes. I don't want to plan anything in advance and spoil the fun. It's been an amazing journey and I'm going to treasure it forever.

What will you do with the 20 lakh prize money?
Money is important to me, but I believe one can always earn it through hard work. But the love and support I've received from my audience is beyond the money.

How do you plan to celebrate your victory if you win?
I want to keep it real and not get too excited. If I do win, I will obviously throw a party and celebrate.

One message you have for Rakhi-Abhishek
We have all worked equally hard. May the best couple win. I wish Rakhi all the best for the finale!

What according to you is your strongest point?
I think our simplicity and the fact that we've kept it real. I think our dedication is our strongest point My journey, from being a non-dancer to some one who's made it to the finals, has been amazing.

We worked really hard and had a fabulous time on this show

What are your chances of winning?
I won't be diplomatic. I think we have a pretty good chance of winning.
