True, any husband in an arranged marriage would be super upset with what a wife like Sona is doing right now, avoiding her husband. So Dev's anger is still very mild to real situations.

I agree with the Bijoy part. He's not completely wrong but he should be told that it's Sona who decided to fast. Dev didn't tell her to do so, neither did Ishwari. In fact Dev told Sona not to indulge in all these things. Bijoy needs to hear that.

What's wrong with Dev wanting to get intimate with Sona? She's his wife. It's natural to want something more than talking and hugging. It was really stupid of Sona to react like Dev had said something out of the world.

Unfortunately for Dev whatever he does will get scrutinised,criticised and misunderstood. People will conveniently forget that Dev never believed in puja Vrat kind of things. Still he will be targeted by his own fatherinlaw and despised in the most humiliating tone. Not once Bijoy bothered to ask Sona whose decision it is to fast on Navratri. To him his daughter is always innocent and Dev the culprit for anything and everything.

Nothing wrong in husband desiring to get intimate with his wife.If he was so desperate.He would have been angry on Sona on the wedding night itself.He respected her no.He was the one who asked Sorry in the morning.But Dev is not angry on Sona not only for the point that he cannot get intimate with her.But for the fact Sona trying to become the person who she is not.She doing just to fit in his family.Dev already said Sona is part of his life.She his wife.She does not do pooja n virat to prove it.He knew Sona.Sona is independent n career oriented girl.He fell in love with her for these qualities.When he see Sona changing herself n also competiting to become best bahu.Loosing her individuality.He is angry on her.I don't find it wrong.

I can understand Bijoy's fear.If he has fear Dev will leave Sona for his mom.He should think about Pre-Nup thing.How Dev went against his mom n he was against Pre-Nup.How he said Sona is not interested in his money.If he was working under Sona also.She would have fallen in love with him.He Understand Sona well.She value her self respect more.Seeing that also.Bijoy cannot give Dev a chance.Then I don't know what to say.Yet Bijoy is not satisfied.He can have a open talk with Dev.Say is fear to Dev in a calm n composed way.Dev will understand it n will assure Bijoy he will stand by Sona.When after patch up.Dev went to Sona's house.Bijoy behaved so coldly with Dev.Dev said to Sona he can understand Bijoy's behaviour.After all.He is father of best daughter in the world.He must be worried in giving hand of his daughter to a guy like him.Dev understand Bijoy's fear.Same way Bijoy should understand Dev n give him a chance.Behave in a good way with Dev.At least behave cordial with him.

Coming to the taunt Bijoy said to Dev.I completely disagree.Bijoy is not right.He is wrong.It was Sona's decision to keep fast.She took the decision voluntarily.No one forced her.Then why taunt Dev that.Wife is keeping fast n he is not.It is not about Husband N Wife equality.It is about choice n belief.Both Sona N Dev belief is different.Even if Sona wants to keep Karva Chauth also.Dev will be against it.Dev does not want Sona to change herself for any one.

@Red - Completely agree.It's not about Patriarchal Structure.It's about a individual choice n belief.Even Mama ji is keeping fast.Some forgot that.

I remember some questioning does Dev hormones work properly.There is no sexual tension between leads.Dev is not showing any sign of getting intimate.But when he does he is tagged as Desperate.Bechara Dev now whatever he do is wrong.

As Dev said in a epi.It's a fresh start.I also seeing the epi after patch up as fresh start.

CV's should show Bijoy also ignore the past.Start fresh.Give Dev a chance to prove himself n behave cordially with him.

I agree Dev feels Sona neglecting him.In the process becoming Ideal Bahu.He reminded her.That he is also his wife.We always say Dev to learn balancing.Sona also need to learn balancing.In impressing Ish.She should not ignore Dev.

@Bold - You have echoed my voice.I always supported Sona.But in this current situation I suppourt Dev.Dev is not wrong at all.

Bijoy is the mirror in which Dev can see his own shortcomings which his mother will NEVER tell him... It is best way to make Dev realize how the his world is treating his partner different than how they are treating him...

@Bold - So true.He without knowing any truth.He jumps to taunt Dev.Based on his past mistakes.Every one done mistake.If a person is ready to rectify it.Others should help.Bijoy should help Dev.Bond with him.Instead of taunting him.
