Indian Zoroastrian (Parsi) Wedding
The Rupia Peravanu Ritual
In the rupia peravanu ritual, ladies from the bride's family visit the groom's house and likewise, female members of the groom's family visit the bride's family. Both give gifts, money and a silver coin to the groom as well as the bride respectively. It is an engagement ceremony of an unofficial kind.
madhavsaro ritual
both the families are supposed to plant a tree in a flower pot and keep it on the main entrance of their respective houses. This pot is kept there for about 7-8 days after the wedding and watered everyday. After this, it is removed from the entrance and placed elsewhere.
The Adarni Ritual
In this ritual, the bride is visited by her to-be in-laws and family with gifts, jewellery and clothes. They are served delicacies by the bride's family here.
The Supra Nu Murat Ceremony
In this ritual, five married ladies apply a turmeric paste on to the bodies of the bride and the groom.
The Nahan Ritual
In this ritual, both the bride and the groom take a bath for purity and cleansing. They then start getting ready for the wedding.
In Parsi weddings, a stage is built in a fire temple. Here, the mother of the bride carries a tray which contains some rice, a coconut, dates, raw eggs and water. She then circles all these items excepting the water around the groom and then throws them away. This ritual is called the achumichu ritiual and is done on the stage. The groom's mother repeats the same ritual for the bride.
The Ara Antar Ritual
Here, the bride and the groom sit facing each other and a cloth is placed between them.
Tying Of The String
The priest now ties seven knots to a string placed around the couple. Both the bride and the groom throw rice at each other without peeking and compete to untie the string first.
The Chero Bandhvanu
The couple now sits with each other and after placing lamps on their sides, the priest begins his prayer rituals. The exchange of rings by the couple and showering of blessings and flowers follows this.
The Haath Borvanu
In this ritual, the sister of the bride is supposed to free the couple of the tied strands and in return the groom gives her money. She also places his hands in a bowl of water and cleans his shoes by pouring milk.
The grand affair of the traditional Parsi Wedding comes to a delightful end with the reception party hosted by the groom's family. Also, the mother of the groom repeats the achumichu ritual on the arrival of the couple back home.

Indian Islamic wedding
Rituals :
The Istikhara ritual
This is the most important ritual. The religious heads of the Muslim community come together to pray to Allah and seek his consent and blessings to commence the wedding.
The Imam-Zamin ritual
In this ritual, the groom's mother visits the bride's house bearing sweets and a gold or silver coin that is wrapped inside a silk cloth. She ties this cloth around the bride's hand.
The Mangni
Also known as the engagement ceremony, during which the boy and the girl exchange rings. Both the families also exchange gifts, fruits, dry fruits and sweets.
The Manjha (mayun) ritual
During this ritual, the bride-to-be wears yellow clothes and a paste made out of haldi (turmeric) is applied on to her face and body. After the Manjha ritual, the bride-to-be is not supposed to leave her house until the wedding day.
The Mehendi
In the Mehendi ceremony, beautiful and artistic henna designs are applied on the bride's hands and feet.
The Sanchaq ritual
The groom's family sends the clothes and ornaments for the bride that she is supposed to wear during the Nikah .
Reception of the Baraat
The bride's family welcomes the baraat (wedding party) with welcome drinks and gifts. The groom then shares a glass of sherbet (a sweetened drink) with the brother of the bride.
The Nikah
actual wedding ceremony is conducted in presence of the Maulvi (religious priest) and close family members from both the sides. According to traditional and religious customs, men and women sit separately. The bride is given a Mehr (a pre-decided amount of cash given to the bride) from the groom's family.
The Maulvi, recites prayers from the Quran, and asks the bride if she agrees to marry the groom with the pre-decided Meher. This question is asked thrice. If she agrees, the same is repeated with the groom.
This is known as Ijab-e-Qubul (proposal and acceptance). This if followed by the signing of the Nikahnama (marriage contract) by the couple. All the elders now bless the newly married couple.
The Arsi Mushaf Ritual

This is the time when the newly married couple gets a chance to see each other for the first time after the marriage is solemnised. A mirror along with the Holy Quran is kept between the bride and the groom. Through this mirror, the couple can see each other.
The Rukhsat ritual
The bride bids a farewell to all her family members after all the wedding rituals have taken place.
From the stage to the exit , Holy Qur'an is held over bride's head.
On her arrival at the groom's house, the bride is welcomed by the groom's mother with the Holy Quran placed on her head.
The Walimah
A grand and lavish wedding reception feast, also known as Dawat-e-walimah , is organised by the groom's family. This is a way to welcome the new family member as well as an opportunity to make a formal announcement of the marriage to the entire community.
The Chauthi ceremony
This ceremony is basically a lunch or a dinner organised by the bride's family, when she visits her house for the first time after marriage with her husband. After the meal, they are showered gifts and blessings.

From now on , in each CC (only if there is no other specific cc games ) Two members will be selected as "candidate for Members' Hot seat"and they need to answer some questions posted in 'game details' section . (slambook type)
There will be a "members wish" opportunity using which , the members selected for hot seat will be able to select any one member of CC according to their wish as the next candidate for "hot seat" π (each one hot seat member will select one member thus we will get two members) , as there will be two members in the hot seat section , so they need to choice two different (and Not common) members for the "Hot Seat " challenge in next CC... I repeat , Selected name of candidate should not be common for both Hot seat members . ( members in the Hot seat may discuss the issue using PM service before they select any other candidate for next CC hot seat challenge) .
The other candidates except the selected ones , however , will be in "Safe Zone" for next CC π
The Members in hot seat will set the questions for the next hot seat challenge players selected by them . (If in any case , they fail to set questions before the CC reaches its 100 th page , then the questions will be set by TM or if the TM herself is selected for Hot seat challenge then any other active member will set question for her ) π
The Members selected for "hot seat game" will have every rights of skipping any question they don't want to answer , and even avoid playing the challenge if they do not feel comfortable with the concept .π
The number of questions should not be more than 25 , as that may be stressful for any member to answer more than that in one CC . π the selected members , though , may answer their questions later (next CC) if they feel they can't answer all questions in one CC.
