Actually everyone is blaming Sona for trying to be gud bahu! But Sona is finding herself at back foot

From wedding lehanga, veg non veg, fish drama for no fault she has been proved to be a wrong choice. That's y she probably decided to do this xtra bit to make everyone happy.

Sonakshi is a smart girl but she is not cunning so for her to understand Ishwari's tricks is impossible.

How can she imagine that ishwari is against consummation of their marriage also.

As soon as Sona will realise Ishwari's real intention she wint take things lying down. I am damn sure about it

Completely agree with you. Give Sona some time to understand Ish's gameplan. Sona had some doubt abt Ish changed behavior on first night, but after that sometimes Ish is very friendly or very harsh. So Ish behaviour is confusing for Sona.

I love Sona. I really do. But I had some respect for her sharp brain too. She is more than a match for Ishwari's games. But she wants to give Issue a second chance. Some times giving a second chance to some is like giving a bullet for their gun, since they missed you the first time around. Fool me once shame on you but fool me twice it is shame on me. She is a fast learner. Will wait n watch. First round win for Ishwari hands down. But it is not over yet. 😆

Well the thing is, we are bashing Sona because we love her too much like we love ourselves, and many of us have gone through all this 'Impressing MIL' tactics and failed miserably 🤣 So we can see that Sona is not going to gain anything out of this, and poor Dev babu is getting agitated instead 🤣
We all love Sona but for this vrat, as soon as she heard that last clause, she could have said let me discuss with Dev if he has any holiday plans etc or not. 😉 There are ways to retreat even after you say yes without making it obvious that your son will not like this 😆 Anyways these are after she agrees, my objection is why she had to agree in the first place ! Isn't she a nutritionist ? Keeping fast or only intake of fruits for 9 days is acceptable in Diet haan ? IMO till Tulsi Puja it's fine but she shouldn't have agreed for this 9-days thing at all ! 🤔

P.S. - These tracks remind me few of the blunders of my life as well and seeing my favorite character going through the same is actually painful 😆 But yes, never my inlaws had such nasty intention for all these, 1. There was a weird request from my FIL who loves fishing, the request was for me to join him in his fishing adventure at morning 5:00 AM on the first visit to my inlaws after marriage, my hubby and my MIL were furious since I couldn't say no to his insist 🤣 And 2. One big drama happened with some ritual of touching 10/15 elderly ladies' feet (Su-bochoni or something) as part of some ritual to which I agreed to (of course the intention was not to create problem by saying NO to my MIL 😆) but later on my hubby found out and had a showdown with my MIL just like Dev and then we both had to calm him down that it was not forced to me but I agreed on my own (which indeed was, it wasn't a manipulation etc like Ishwari) The drama went on for few more days so my point is, I know what Sona is trying to do, and I also know that trying to be somebody who I am not never achieves anything 😔 So just lets be ourselves and have people love you for what you are

Oh hun, I am sorry for your troubles. But the lesson you mentioned right there in bold is PRICELESS. If Sona had shared with someone (even her mother), she'd learn the same lesson. But she is trying to win a war without any weapon or defense. So she will have to learn the same lesson the hard way.

Awww, thank you for sharing your story and a big hug to you. I can imagine how you feel because I have been in a similar situation. When I got married, my husband was as crazy about me as Dev is about Sona right now and he unintentionally told off his mother/ my MIL about something resulting which she created a huge ruckus at home. Both son and MIL fought and I kept quiet for sometime and then sided with my MIL so that she doesn't feel bad. I did not agree with her overreaction but I gave in thinking that shit happens, she is in the wrong hoping she would understand. My husband appreciated my stance on that incident but that was the first time I realized my MIL's insecurities. She has been super nice to me, but clouded with weird behavior at times, which I stopped caring about after a while that helped in setting her straight.

There are several manipulative incidents we all go through - sometimes we are players and sometimes we fall victim to them. Sona is a victim of such manipulations right now - but here she fell into the trap unknowingly because of poor listening skills and taking her husband for granted (in a way). She was regretting it already so can't blame her for not being self-aware.

Talking of weapons, in my personal experience - I used 'indifference' to avoid unnecessary drama and hullabaloo. Also, kept emotional testimonies at bay because that what drove my MIL 😛 (guess that was her weapon)
It worked very well for me, because my MIL understood very early on that her DIL (that's me) is headstrong and is very direct in her dealings. So manipulations won't work and right to communication is well-exercised between the couple.
I hope Dev-Sona would do the same - soon enough!

Guys you are forgetting an important dialogue from Sona after her phone conversation with Dev - 'I wish I had heard all the preconditions for fasting before I agreed, how can I say no to Maa now'.
She got stuck in this situation and it can happen with anyone.
Sona acknowledged the mess, but it was late. Shit happens, and this was one such case. But it's ok, not the end of life, just a matter of few more days. And now with Dev's reaction (in the precap), Sona got it loud and clear, that he is Mr. Obodhro and Mr. Right, so never take him for granted 😛

P. S. loved today's episode 👏

Ishwari is becoming impossible with each passing day, in the morning itself, she gave a big lecture to Sona for not trying to become a perfect Bahu so soon and asked her to do things in which she is perfect. But suddenly when Ishwari saw that Dev has sent some dress for Sona, how cunningly she sent Dev to Rishikesh (such a big business man who doesn't have even a driver to drive the car, what was the need of Dev driving to the destination?? 😕 ) And on the same night came to Sona's room and talked about Navratri fast, she knew that Sona will definitely say yes for keeping fast and in the end she said that for 9 days you both have to remain apart physically !😡 Poor Sona, she just said yes for keeping fast and how could have she said no to her that time.I know Sona was not wrong but at-least as I said earlier, before committing anything to Ishwari she should always discuss with Dev. Mistakes happens but best is to realize your mistakes and learn from them!Lets see how Sona-Dev will be able to stay apart for 9 days and their longing for each other during this period will be a treat to watch!😳

That's exactly the right approach in my opinion. If you refuse to play games and are completely indifferent, manipulation won't work on you. I am a straight shooter myself (just in case my posts are not proof enough) and hence I never get trapped in lies or manipulation. I stand by what I believe in and don't budge from my stand without a valid or logical reason. That's why when one time my mother-in-law and my husband got into a fight, I didn't take sides to anyone. I just told both of them what I thought they were doing wrong but kept a neutral stand. The result was my mother-in-law asked my husband to leave and asked me to stay with her instead (we were spending the weekend at my in-laws home). But of course I had to leave since my husband left in a huff. But their relationship got sorted out when I made him call his mother on Mother's Day when they both realised their mistakes which funnily enough no one wanted to admit when I was saying it on the day they fought. But they did admit on that day that I was right. So overnight, I was the favourite daughter-in-law and best wife ever which they still claim I am. This was a two years old incident right before we moved to Toronto from Calgary and I am still the favourite.
